I did the passionfruit and peach cider with half of the sweetening additive recently, turned out ok, improved with a few weeks in keg, but I've moved on to experimenting with ciders juice concentrate and spices now
In the first quarter of the video, you sounded like a cooking channel with your very detailed descriptions and warning which I really liked as it was just a different way of presentation and I think most people could easily relate to the way it was presented compared to just homebrewers. (Pierre, you usually do this but this time I was just mentally thinking ..."This is crazy easy to follow like a cooking channel" based on listening to the steps and how you were describing them.) As we both know there are a ton of people that probably don't brew beer that would love to make some cider without having to be a homebrewer. Been thinking of doing another one of these as my Mangrove Jack's pear that I added bourbon vanilla is almost all gone. I'm thinking maybe the Pear with added Blackberries, just not sure how much to add as I don't want it to be overpowered by the Blackberries, just subtle.
Hi Pierre, my ciders I brew I usually add the essence in around day 7 or 8, or when gravity is below 1015, never added it to the keg, does it make much difference?
I genuinely believe, Pierre is one of the nicest persons on youtube. Always happy to see a new video. keep it up 👍
Been waiting for this vid, decent watch on a Sunday morning, Cheers mate 🍻
Absolutely love mangrove jacks kits ! Never had a bad one. Nice job and great video 👍
Awesome! Thank you!
I have done a few apple ciders, but never a pear cider. I will need to add this to my upcoming brew list. Thanks.
It's so good!

I just bought the same kit, looking forward to trying it out.👌

I don't really know I will try it on the next brew.
I see that you finally bought a funnel 😁 cheers 🍻👍
Oh yeah!
Why did you leave 2 weeks between making the kit and checking gravity? The kit says 6 days...
Hi Rachel, to be honest I just didn't have time. It is definitely okay to do that and I can be sure it's finished fermenting by then.
Must be almost time for another cider video then?..
Holy Gee's I clean forgot about cider month. Thank you!!!!
This blokes so unorganised
