BNSF Needles Sub Action in Daggett, CA - Trains in the Desert Heat!!

BNSF and Union Pacific freights in the scorching HOT Mojave Desert on the last day of July 2018. All shots filmed on the Westernmost part of the Needles Sub in Daggett, California. The temperature was HOT and so were the trains! Got some cool locomotive consists in addition with just the sheer amount of trains seen in such a short timespan!
The weather was interesting and unpredictable this day. The humidity was unbearable with lightning/thunderstorms appearing out of nowhere. You can see the small isolated rainstorms off in the distance in some of the shots in the video. Operations at the nearby Barstow Yard were suspended too due to the Lightning.
Never quite know what you’re gonna get regarding trains and weather along the always adventurous Needles Subdivision.
