Isn’t the point of little free libraries to keep those books in the little library so that people can read them…? I’m sorry I might be confused, but it seems kind of like ur defeating the point of the library by taking the book?
@@HomeworkVideosUploaded how can you read it if you don’t take it? And you leave one. So it’s always something new in there. If people think I have the time to write down where I got every book, read it and return it to the same spot, that’s just crazy!
I cannot believe you found that edition of Fourth Wing in a LFL!! And Emily Wilde for such a good price too, amazing! I totally agree that finding good books used or free is so much more exciting than just buying them new 😊❤️
I just brought a couple books to the LFL that I frequently donate to, and it was empty! So sad. It's next to a school that's in a not so great neighborhood, so I want to make sure the kids have access to books they can take home and keep.
I'm considering taking a few more of my DNF books (because I'm not the target audience) and stuff. But I'm conflicted about putting YA or adult books in a LFL next to an elementary school. I really want to contribute content that the younger kids could read and enjoy.
I recently found FW in a little free library too! Not that edition but it was still brand new and my little heart was so happy. I've been wanting to read it, but keep passing it at the bookstore because it's like $45CAD in my local shops 😮
You're so right, it DOES add a layer of excitement when you find books "in the wild," as I like to call it. And those are truly some amazing scores! I'm most impressed by the Emily Wilde book. I never buy books new but that's one I'm about to cave on. So to get the *exclusive edition* for a steal?? (I did have some good luck today though; I randomly went into an antique store and found a 1949 children's book on dogs by Gladys Taber, an author I like to collect, for a dollar)
you need to teach me your little free library/thifiting ways cuz your picks are always on point! but adding a curious beginning to my priority tbr SWIFTY since i desperately want to read more historical romance and you've convinced me with the banter
Best wishes with what you choose to read. I hope you get some great stories. I'm currently reading the Count of Monte Cristo. It is excellent but I might be some time.
Nice haul! I also love a good hunt. The new cover designs for the V.E. Schwab are great. And yeah....surprised that the "Fourth Wing" book is already turning up in Little Free Libraries. Happy Reading! 😎📚👍
On Monday when I was driving back from the temple, I saw a big dollar tree. The one I go to is kind of small in a plaza. On Sunday after brunch w a friend I plan to explore the big dollar tree. Maybe I’ll find a decent book or a couple to read😂it doesn’t hurt the bank really
@@tiachu the one in my town does! Didn’t have good choices the last time I went. Tho 17-19 yo me (idk when I got a couple books) thought the few I bought were decent. Later tho 2 years ago I gave them away to a family friend😂
I love there Veronica Speedwell series! 5 & 7 are my favorite stories but the chemistry between Veronica and Stoker is top notch throughout the whole series. I recommend after physically reading them, go and listen to them on audio. the narrator does a fantastic job!
Love the Veronica Speedwell series, such comfort reads for me! This was such a good book haul! Can't wait to hear your thoughts on all of them! Also, what a great reminder that I need to get to The Seven Year Slip! I've always heard nothing but amazing things about it, but I need to check it out!
