hey, so here's some cool facts about this version:
Ultra M have his lore and origin changed, but I'm not gonna show cuz I'm still making
Omega in this version is a part of Ultra M soul, using the super mario 3 files to distract gf
The reason why W4R and Y0SH were replaced, was cuz i thought it didn't fit the Mario 3 theme
BF name on act 3 is senzacuore, meaning no heart on Italian (thanks square for giving this idea)
like in the original, bf was assimilated to ultra m, and on the final, m put him as one of the creatures
gf's soul is being tortured by ultra m, forced to seeing bf dying on her mind
gf is still able to use her powers, but ultra m stills stronger than her to defeat
gf on act 4 (specially the part after the solo) have a new transformation, more like a monster demon version. she would possibly defeat ultra m like this

I think the reason why Wario and Yoshi were chosen is to reference the Mario 64 DS playable characters (Mario, Luigi, Wario, and Yoshi)
Although wanting to follow Mario 3 theme makes sense

first of all, I love how girlfriend is the one who survives and not boyfriend, it’s a nice change of pace and was definitely unexpected
I liked how bowser and peach took place of wario and Yoshi, despite removing the 64 DS reference I think they work better as they’re more major characters in the Mario series.
I also liked how M was mimicking some of the characters in the first act and the rearranging of the characters in act 4, very interesting
Overall, 11/10 remix WAY TO GO!!!!!!
also the fact that BF was the final mimic was also insanely awesome

it's because i have the idea of in Act 2, have the characters present in smb3, cause like, Omega is from this game, Nerdin thinks these two characters it's just there, for being there, so he have to replace it

Oh my god this was really cool oh my god! I really love the fact that Girlfriend becomes the main playable of the song after act 2 it really fits with the lore because she’s the one M was truly after and makes the death at the end all the more worth it also I really love how BF closes in the song that caught me so off guard lmao awesome job!

I like to think that Ultra M mimicking bf made gf lower her guard, giving M the chance to kill her.
that's the point, and also would kinda represent that "bf" also killed her
makes sense that GF would be last to go, the deal was seemingly only to spare BF, but he broke it, so he goes first
it also wouldn't make sense that he would torture BF before killing him when GF was always the plan to kill, so she going through the suffering works
Also its not confirmed if GF has the power to respawn or not, so BF dying first is even more of a "Oh fuck" moment

For some reason, i was expecting Toad instead of Peach
This is amazing, though the fact that the mimics in act 4 were shifted around is a bit of a nitpick, since some of them (ones that come to mind are Costume and IHY Luigi) are done at points with leitmotifs to the song they're from (OGN in IHY's case). Here, Beta Luigi is where IHY's part is, and IHY's where Costume's part is (I'd put the Wario Apparition replacing Mr. Virtual's spot, but the leitmotif was changed to match so it still works). Other than that though (and it's really not a big deal anyways), I loved this!

Hey so I was wondering when you're gonna update the FLP to add the full FLP for the vocals and instrumentals instead of the vocals just being audio files since I am kind of making a sprite animation for the full song and I am in Act 3 as of right now, and it's kind of hard to hear them both Senzacuore and Girlfriend since Ultra M's singing is more louder than their vocals.
