"water up the butt" that's funny. We use to pull on tubes behind a speedboat and do a whip in circles. Centrifigal force would make the tubes go from round to the shape of a cat's eye. The old life preservers in the 70's had mesh on the inside. One time we had the boat doign 55mph in a circle, so the poor soul on the tube was covering about 3x the distance in same ammount of time. It must have been 90+ mph! You would fly off that damn thing and skip across the water like skipping a rock! That damn mesh on the inside of the life jackets would just about rip your nipples off! We had to put band aids on our nipples before we went tubing.
