- Because of the nice summery weather we chose some danceable, up-tempo songs to go back in time with, to the days of The Three Degrees! We love the harmonious tracks they released, perfect for a medley. Last year we had the honor to actually sing this medley together with Sheila Ferguson (lead singer & songwriter The Three Degrees) in a cheering arena full of people. It’s a bit different now, by ourselves in front of a cellphone but nevertheless we had fun recording it. ENJOY! ☀️

🇳🇱Waarom de video op deze manier?
Omdat Amy tot een risicogroep behoort, zijn wij allemaal van elkaar gescheiden en zitten we alledrie in ons eigen huis. Toch hebben we een manier gevonden om samen te zingen! Los van elkaar met muzikale begeleiding op ons oortje…en dit is het resultaat!

Because of Amy's health problems she is of high risk these days regarding the Corona-virus, so we are all separated, in our own homes in self-isolation. Nevertheless, we still found a way to sing together! Hearing the instrumental guide in one earphone and singing into the camera, we created this video. We hope you enjoy the result! - เพลง

It's amazing. It drives you just nuts if you want to figure out how their harmonies work. Sometimes Shelley takes the upper 'second' voice, than Amy takes it and Shelley takes first, just like that in a split second without thinking. I would say: don't try this at home!
Begin jaren 70 ging ik met mijn vrienden met vakantie naar Spanje en waren deze nummers hits. Hele mooie herinneringen komen nu naar boven dankzij jullie.

OG3NE has preform a this medley with Sheila Ferguson the lead singer of the Tree Degrees in a big event named "De Toppers".
Instead of a lot of people hear those artist like very much the way they give there one twist to the song on that famous OG3NE way and not do just a copy of it.
Also because they take mainly the chorus for those famous harmonise.
Amy and Shelley's notes are higher than my grades lmao. I love it!

Just super.... The energy, the harmony, and not forgetting the band. Just Great, everytime i listen to it, it creates a huge smile on my face. You ladies are awesome.
OG3NE start in fullscreen (4K 43inch) met een medley van The Three Degrees uit mijn jeugd. Lisa, Shelley, Ami in portret mode, geflankeerd door piano, bas, slagwerk en gitaar. Op het grote scherm is het alsof ze mij persoonlijk toezingen. Hun zang en expressie pakt me. Deze Home Isolation is de eerste die ik van OG3NE zie. Ik schaam me niet, kippenvel, van emotie tranen in mijn ogen, zo mooi. Voor hun driestemmige sound was ik al fan. Maar hier zijn ze bijna tastbaar recht voor me. Drie juweeltjes, prachtige zang, lieve snuutjes die van alles uitstralen, blij, lief, zacht, dromerig, spottend, uitdagend, waar de song dat nodig heeft. Dat overdonderde mijn oude hart (77). Dat ik dit nog mee mag maken. Dankjewel OG3NE.
Wat een verwennerij! Wederom 6 minuten (keer 5, vanwege de repeatknop) de hele wereld vergeten, verstand op nul en op en top genieten van de uitzonderlijke kwaliteiten van de zusjes Vol. Duizend maal dank!

Think this one has so many harmonies and intricacies it has to be up there with one of their best. The Three Degrees were brilliant in their own right, so really like the arrangement you’ve come up with here. As stated in the live chat earlier, one of my favourite songs is ‘When Will I See You Again’...so delighted you chose that in this medley. Ladies you impress me more every time I watch these videos and hear you sing so I hope you all Stay Safe, Stay True to yourselves and you’ll go...well who knows how far you can go...enjoy the ride...you’re all stars 🌟 ❤️🎤

We all think and we all have our opinions. And the beauty of it.. No one is right and no one is wrong. It's all opinions.. And in my opinion, The Three degrees 'HAD' the best vocal harmonies 'in those times' - i am not talking about today, i'm just stating that, 'back in the day' they were underrated.

It is hard to compare because different times and the three degrees didn't always had the same setup with singers, it changed over the years. But both groups are excellent in harmony singing.
Thinking that the a Three Degrees are better[Which she didn't even say] doesn't mean that she is "underestimating OG3NE". Don't ruin threads with your insecurities and hangups about past arguments with people online.

En weer is t gelukt om een klinkende medley te maken en ook nog lekker swingend aan t eind. En nu de reacties van overzee afwachten, want ze lopen daar met jullie weg na elke medley. In de jaren zeventig had ik het geluk om vele optredens van verscheidene artiesten mee te mogen maken w.o. in the Odeon (Hammersmith) en in the Paladium (London).
Nu lijkt het mij leuk een mix van oude nummers van Shelley Fabares, Sandy Posey, Timy Yuro, Ritchie Valens etc te horen. Jullie zijn gewoon geweldig. Love you

Wat zo bijzonder goed is aan het Home Isolation format is dat alle performers tijdens de song constant in beeld blijven. Ik vind het fijn om de focus op de pianist, bassist, slagwerker of gitarist te kunnen houden of alleen op Lisa, Shelley of Amy. Bij live optredens kan en doe ik dat ook. Dan geeft contactgevoel. Bij een opname van een live optreden is dit er niet door actie van de camera en artistieke bewegingen van de zusjes, prachtig dat wel, maar de excellente instrumentalisten blijven vaak buiten beeld. Wat mij betreft wordt het Home Isolation format een nieuwe standaard.
Top! De favoriete muziek van mij en mijn bf in Indonesia. Mis hem zo erg, we hebben allebei inmiddels deze home isolation medley "grijsgedraaid" en meegezongen via whatsapp :-) maakt het een klein beetje lichter voor ons.... voorlopig blijft de grens van indonesie dicht voor toeristen tot waarschijnlijk September of nog later :-( Bedankt dames!
