I know this was 3 weeks ago, but since you loved this you should also watch their Hunchback of Notre Dame performance. It is amazing. Also just subscribed.
Have you ever heard it in "The Sound of Music?" If not, you're in for a goosebump treat. The singing in this video is done in the traditional barbershop quartet format. Well done.
Ringmasters is a world champion barbershop quartet. These guys each have incredible talent. Combined they are literally beyond compare. In this performance Rasmus was singing tenor. I forget the name of the lead. Both have the incregible range to allow them to trade back and forth between the two parts. As always, Ringmasters bring their own genius to bear, creating another Barbershop masterpiece.
This song was written for the movie "Sound of Music". It was specifically written, I cannot remember the head Mother Superior real name, me bad.. She was approaching 80 at the time. She sang it for Maria (Julie Andrews) Also Jerry Lewis sang this at the end of his telethon.
Ringmasters is a champion Barbershop Quartet. A capella TTBB close harmony is a different beast than a chamber choir in terms of chord structure and progression. Barbershop often has dissonance that is simply not used in any other type of chorale harmony.
Absolutely incredible quartet!!! Great music, Recky, thank you for sharing!!! I was watching but via my little phone monitor, never saw George, now I'm curious!!! 😉😉🤣
Your channel and you are way underrated. You have this character about you that makes you interact with us in a way where I feel like I know you. Some of the things that you say and sometimes the way you say them when you look at the camera makes me feel like you're talking to me lol
This is the kind of music you listen to when you're working in your garden. There's no place closer a person can be to God than when he's in a garden. Check out Romans chapter 10 verses 9 through 13 and John chapter 1. Actually the whole book of John but, just check out chapter 1. Most importantly Romans chapter 10 verses 9 through 13

I see lily George at the 5:23 mark sitting on the emblem.

These guys have amazing harmony! Love this! It reminds me of when I was in chorus as a teenager. Totally a Chamber Choir! Awesome!

Is there any way you could do a reaction video to the song by Jeff Buckley called broken hallelujah?
Heard hallelujah manny times by Jeff. But I don’t recognize “broken” hallelujah. So I’ll check it out!
I always thought both songs were religious.
Oh they absolutely are. 100%. Those are old gospel hymns
