The main reason for this music is bound to be that it's on the saxophone. It's a reference to the fact that Dinant is the birthplace of the saxophone (Adolphe Sax, its creator, was a local of Dinant and his native house has been turned into a museum).

Indeed the mosasaurs are named after the Meuse river. In other words, mosasaur literally means lizard from the Meuse river.
