Awesome work ppl dont realize how much work goes into boat building. Wish the industry wasnt filled with so many questionable characters. Great job could only imagine how many hours went into it
Thanks Ken, you are correct.about the industry.
You should acknowledge the designer
I do not think so considering he kicked me of the forum.
Wow!! great work sir! I just want to ask what material did you use on the hull? it look so nice and shiny!.. is it a gelcoat?
It is a 2pack polyurathane from Northane reduced with Northane brushing thinners and applied with a foam roller.
I really like the bowdidge designed boats. It concerns me that a lot of these have hydraulic trim tabs. Why would a boat of this size need them? Thanks.
Answering a question with a question why not. I do not understand the stigma associated with trim tabs. Almost all aircraft have trim tabs from the one on my channel that I have just built and test flown to a multi million dollar Boeing passenger jet. Every thing is a compromise to widen the performance envelope trim tabs just make all the difference. They are not full hydaulic trim tabs but Smart tabs. nauticusinc.com/smart-tabs/
Wow!
