Gosh that's a crazy nice pocket pen. I have admired Maker pens for a while... and would love to look at one at some point... but in the meantime, I'll just enjoy watching yours. That writes super well too. That titanium nib is INSANE!
This pen is worth spending money on. I love the low volume, high craftsmanship bespoke pens. I would much rather spend my hard earned on something like this, Schon, or Gravitas rather than an overpriced mass marketed pen. I like the creativity and the materials. Thanks for featuring this pen and maker.
What a great looking pen! This is something original in the world of pens, I like it. Good pronunciation of name of the city, the name of creator of pens is more difficult, there is a soft "c" sound. And the history behind name of the company made me chuckle... 😀
There was one pen available on his website for $2700! It is indeed unique and beautiful. It is coincidence that I have exactly $2700 left in my 2024 pen budget!. It is just so sad that shipping was not included in the price. Maybe next time.
I'm sorry to say that I find this surface treatment creepy. After a writing session my fingers would have the inverse effect which I would find intolerable. OCD I suppose.
I like some of the pens I've seen from Makar, but I agree with you. I don't see this as artistry or as something difficult to execute. To me, it looks like a mistake but to each their own.
The workmanship and artistry in this pen is astonishing.

Beautiful pens!
Absolutely fascinating design. Beautiful in every regard
At first glimpse I thought those blue indents were raised jewels!
@@konradyearwood5845 They are, sure
I'm very impressed with Makar. If I can afford to, I'll absolutely be trying to commission for one.
Ordered an torpedo last month by viewing your video of your's torpedo. Will be made in December, cant wait to get this
Its very nice, fun too. To a layman like me it looks like a lot of work too, price seems reasonable as its also an art piece.

A work of art. Amazing.
Beautiful!!
Once pens hit a certain price point I really expect a gold nib.

Poland has given the world two very talented pen makers: Makar and Michal Kulka (Tamenuri Studio).
the dimples look like the ones on my key
Those dimples on the section must be ink catchers. Inky fingers anyone. More Kleenex.
I've been a happy inky finger writer since I was 9 years old. Thirty years on, no idea why it happens but it's the one consistent thing in my life.
