I love how everyone was complaining the show was woke because of Rogue's design, then they put the Goblin Queen in one of the sexiest outfits and have her move her body sensually throughout the episode. Also, I really liked that Jean tried to get Madelyn to stay and even allowed her to keep using her name. As for Jean fainting, I know its a call back, but when you consider how much power she exudes as an Omega level mutant, you can see that it would take a toll on her body. She sent herself to Sinister's lair and had an astral fight with Madelyn WITHOUT using Cerebro.

That's too early to them to judgement based on some characters and it's a 10 episodes in S1. Plus, I think Rouge is still pretty and a fun and non judgement person based on her journey in the past when she was anti heroine or villian to current with her own story arc with Magneto and Gambit in this animation. I'm here for narrative structure, imagery, and story arc as my newcomer of this version for myself, and this version isn't part of MCU animation but sandalone for now. And have fun and care with the source materials they're based on. When I first watch this series back in the 90's Gambit was my favorite. And then came Bishop he my new favorite. And then they introduce Cable and I just fell in love with him. Cool gadget, cool gun and he can takedown the whole x men all by himself. He still my favorite mutant. I hope we can get more Cable storyline.
My guess on when Jean Grey got switch is in X-MEN the animated series Season 2, episode 2 "Til Death Do Us Part...part 2" where Mr Sinister captured Scott n Jean, locked in his laboratory...the perfect opportunity for the "switch."
They are displaying the same efficient integration of storytelling that was present in the Netflix Avatar show. 26 minutes and it never felt rushed nor that any important story elements were missing.
i'm ready for them to do more with jubilee she's supposed to be in generation x by now she was 13 when she joined the x-men she's suppose to be 16 now other than that all i want is psylocke , angel , rictor, havok, polaris, northstar, iceman and synch then i'm good but the cartoon is still great i thought disney was going to mess up the x-men but they're doing a good job so far

If they'd've done a whole episode trying to work out which Jean was which, perhaps both trying to contribute to a battle, the revelation and transformation into the Goblin Queen could've been another cliffhanger. Besides, why did Sinister clone Jean in the first place? She and Scott were already together - why not just wait for them to have a kid?
Yeah after my initial happiness and hype calmed down, I started to feel it was way rushed too. But shows are different now with episode limits per season, and since they still have the under 30 min lifespan, it makes it even harder. However, I'm pretty sure it was Disney making them do it this way because all companies just wanna see how profitable something is first before treating it better lol :\
It's ULTRA fast paced, I'm not mad, but yeah, if they had the team & also Madelyne herself figuring the situation out for 1 more episode, it would've been better.
Huge plot hole....Nathan got infected with the "techno virus"....when they've already have the cure from Wolverine's blood....they didn't need to send him with Bishop to the future....They could at least bring that up or something and say this "techno virus" is a new virus and Wolverine's blood wont be able to cure it, THAN, it would've make sense to send to the future with Bishop for a cure.
While I loved the first two episodes, I don't particularly like this one. I agree in thinking this was going to be a season-long storyline -- and it SHOULD have been! This ep is plagued with bad/lazy writing and the pacing is just way too manic. I am not a fan of Maddie flipping out and becoming an OP psycho and then she's just fine by the end of the episode. I do like Madelyne's updated Goblin Queen character design. And I like the idea of neither knowing for sure who lived which memories. But everything else just seemed to be wrapped up too quickly IMO. This storyline SHOULD have played out over the course of the entire season.
I love that Storm and Forge were smooching behind you the whole time.
