I managed to do it on Titan without rushing it or any other cheesy way. Of course it is difficult at the beginning to establish your economy, prepare your defenses and maintain an army. First you have to eliminate the tiny baseless pink opponent to the south and grab the relic. It both gives you source of gold on this side of the river and gives you the Tornado god power which you will need against your next target. At this point you still have 3 rather strong enemies which harass you on both sides of the river, but once you establish an army consisting of mostly murmillos, destroyers and arcuses (arci?) you can beat the orange opponent with the help of the Tornado. (At this point it is usually not worth trying to beat them on water because they already have much more ships.) This is the turning point of the mission. If you successfully eliminated the orange opponent while also maintaining your defenses against the other two, you are in an advantage and the rest should be cakewalk. As you grabbed the second relic from orange, you have Earthquake, which can be used against the red opponent, then only the yellow remains, which really shouldn't be a challenge. In conclusion, for me this felt me the most difficult mission in the 'New Atlantis' campaign, while 'Cerberus' was the other rather difficult one. All the rest felt barely challenge even on Titan difficulty. What do you think?
Congrats! That's impressive and a good strategy. Yes, I would agree that this is the hardest New Atlantis mission without cheese. I found Cerberus fine as just went with walls to block choke points and going mass Priest. I had a few issues with Betrayal at Sikyos but generally the rest of the missions were not too hard on Titan difficulty.
@@Druplex Ye, at Betrayal at Sikyos I failed the first time, but then I realized, that I only have to delay Prometheus and the lot's of Prometheans by keeping them busy. And the easiest way to do so is to build lot's of free buildings (as you are playing Egyptian), such as house, armory and market, to keep them busy once Prometheus himself comes because even for Prometheus it takes a substantial time to destroy all those buildings. You only have to save one villager, build a safe temple at the west side of the map, train 3 Rocs and send them to Kastor. And during this whole time, Prometheus is still busy with the lot's of distractive buildings in your original base.
genius
that mission made mission 18 look like a cakewalk trying to play it out, seems like rushing is the only viable way
cool i need that tip cuz misson is hard

I see you got that bug where map is explored at the start.
By any chance, you wouldn't know how to trigger it?
Hi, I have no idea how that triggered. It has happened to me only twice and once was in this run!
I had it a few times too.
Just use cheat. Clear skies
this is impossible to turtle, like that vlad tepes mission in aoe 2
I agree. Very difficult to turtle this mission. I think moving fast is the way this mission is intended to be played!
