Makima's gyatt is because Fujimoto started drawing her body more bottom heavy later in the manga. The anime made her more modest looking similar to how she was in the beginning of the manga
Im surprised that there are so many people saying they like the faces more on the sh figuarts. The figma looks and feels so much more like Makima to me.
either personal preference or they don't want to accept it since they already got the shf. i got both and is not even close. i don't know what happened to the shf but the prototype had larger eyes and it was so much better. you can still do the comparison with the box art lol
They are coping lol. I mean the faces are a night and day difference even on the promotional images before it was even released. The only thing that I prefer on the SHF is the shoulder and elbow joints and the soft jacket.
@@kelajuan_ Both releases have ups and downs. Neither figure is definitely it if you're looking for a definitive figure of Makima. If I had the choice and money I'd just skip these releases and get the Threezero one that is definitive IMO, although it's in a different scale.

I’ve noticed this first with the jujutsu kaisen line but it seems like Figma models their figures more towards the anime while sh figuarts models their figures more towards the manga
A comparison between the SHF and Figma would be great. I was surprised for this release, it might be the only Chainsaw Man figure that Figma did better.
I recently got her in the mail about a week back and I love her! Ill probably still pick up the SHF but man. they nailed Makima imo. Definitely going to look good on my Figma shelf. I did get the goodsmile bonus blood effect piece
@@dankerbell oh the jjk line is a different story. the figma gojo is definitely better than the wide shf one. same for nobara and megumi. both yujis are good but the shf is better as well. with yuta is hard to say. the shf faceplates look better with a 2nd year hairsculpt for some reason. the figma looks a bit younger so you could say they did a better job
I think we could make a descend figure mixing both XD, In my opinion, SH body way better, that torso and elbow articulation on the figma looks way too disrupting. Figma face is more accurate I think, considering the price difference and the fact that sh has a coat, I think SH is a better option.

The shirt color and lack of articulation on the weird torso joint kills this figure for me. I like the crossed legs but I don't think that's enough for me to want it over the SHF
figma having the giant hinge in the middle and the extremely noticeable joints really kills it imo, for so much more than the shf it really has to be undoubtedly better throughout and it's a sidegrade at best
ive had the sh figuarts on preorder but man...i almost want to cancel it and get this figure now. but i love the trenchcoat from the figuarts. i may have to double dip, but i do love makima so it may be worth it. i just really am sad figuarts dropped the ball on makima when every other chainsaw man figure they made are some of the best figures i own.
I think the figuarts looks better in a static pose (without the coat). The shoulder and elbows of the Figma being a slightly different color from the shirt is off putting to me. It’s really that coat from the figuarts that’s the winner.
is she taller or same size as kugisaki bc i always felt kugisaki was really tiny but she actually is compared to itadori and fushiguro, so for her and makima to get dwarfed by the males kinda makes sense since theyre tiny women?

Makima feels like she's 1/15th scale compared to like every single other SHF I own. She's the only one where I actually feel disappointed when I remember I own it. And I won't sell her because she's a crucial part of a Chainsaw collection, but it really sucks she's not on par with the rest.

kugisaki nobara is a major figma miss in terms of faceplates but the figure is nice, so thats 1 miss in terms of capturing the likeness of a character
