The Japanese fishballs at the Marché are delicious. I adore them. The buildings of Paris are as always stunning. So much effort has been put in to add extra beautiful decorations. A feast for the eyes. I did not realise that the Seine had risen so much. It looks quite dangerous. The cakes displayed in the Bon Marché department store and at Angelina look excellent. Your porcelain at home is very fine indeed, and the Easter chocolate 'cornucopia' looks gorgeous. Beautiful flowers, too! All in all, it looks and is beautiful. Thank you for the entertaining video.

Let me say, that I was thrilled to see how the Notre Dame Cathedral is looking during the opening ceremonies @ the Summer Olympics. After all of the videos I watch here, just getting to see Paris on tv was pretty emotional for me. I'll admit, I cried seeing Paris on Live tv. It was a neat experience for me. I'm sure that all sounds silly, but it was a special moment for me this summer. Thanks for all of the videos.

春の訪れと共に、セーヌ川の水量は増え、カフェのテラス席では人も溢れて、とても春らしく楽しそうな雰囲気が感じられます。
ノートルダム大聖堂も、全体にすっぽりと足場が組まれ、これからより急ピッチで復旧工事が進められることでしょう。
今回も沢山美しい建物や景観を拝見させて頂き、何度見てもパリはやはり素晴らしいと感じました。
復活祭向けのチョコの中に松ぼっくり(?)や亀のチョコを見掛け、キリスト教の世界でも松や亀は目出度いものなのかなと思いました。

Let me say, that I was thrilled to see how the Notre Dame Cathedral is looking during the opening ceremonies @ the Summer Olympics. After all of the videos I watch here, just getting to see Paris on tv was pretty emotional for me. I'll admit, I cried seeing Paris on Live tv. It was a neat experience for me. I'm sure that all sounds silly, but it was a special moment for me this summer. Thanks for all of the videos.

From Maundy Thursday onwards, during the three days before Easter, the bells stop ringing as a sign of mourning, to commemorate Christ's death. On Easter Day, they ring out joyfully once again, to announce his resurrection from death to life.
Tradition has it that the bells bring the chocolates (eggs, rabbits and fish), and indeed the fish is for April Fool's Day 😇

Loved the pastries and chocolates!! I just got back from Japan - it seems they have more patisseries, boulangers and chocolatiers than France and they are very good AND they all stay slim!! HOW!?

Mais qu'il est beau cet immeuble art déco à 5:31 ! Une merveille. Le bouquet en haut de la charpente de Notre-Dame marque la fin du travail. Il a été posé sur le poinçon de l'abside du chœur de la cathédrale par le plus jeune des charpentiers, un certain Léonard, apprenti âgé de 19 ans.

L’immeuble Lavirotte est l'une des merveilles niveau Art Nouveau... Il ne laisse pas insensible et nous n'avons pas pu filmer toutes la façade qui regorge de détailles 😉
