oD Atai well you swag our indefinitely on beetle. I tried so hard to play him but as a casual, I couldn’t execute when necessary in ranked. There’s an Xbox player called ratio and he has the swaggiest beetle I’ve seen. His float cancels make me question whether or not he’s real or an autonomous program, they so crispy.
Lewis Lawrence with blue beetle you can get up to 330 damage with one bar but it’s risky as shit and the reason behind it is that most of his move set don’t compliment eachother and it just seems all over the place With 2 bars however it’s a completely different situation lol you can get up to 590 if you wanna risk it

Angel Gonzalez I main BB. the dmg buff was literally a 2% dmg buff. While Atai was doing some combos, a lot of them were unoptimal. He’d rather go for setups. But BB hits 407 on Superman on a 1 bar optimal now, whereas he used to hit 385. I play BB bc I love Jaime in the comics but if I were to put him on the tier list? I’d say top 15 definitely. He was high-mid pre-patch but with deadshot and batman getting their meter build nerfed (which is why the matchup was hard imo), I think beetle’s like #13-#12.
cause they need to do something to balance him. they never take away stuff they gave characters. they take nerf older moves. he'll still have the mb flame aura and its even plus on block. he just wont be able to get a full combo anywhere on the screen from a low starter
But it’s one of the fewest tools he got to combo start with. I don’t think NR should be held responsible for that just cuz twips aren’t mindful of their lows, that’s fighting game 101, especially when they’re defending from FS from a distance. In that sense, they should do something about Deadshot’s MB rifle shots

Beetle can hurt, but always with 2 bars! I think the 3rd is worth it cause it he can build meter pretty efficiently anyways. Plus it's so swaggy. 🤣👌

It was a 2% dmg boost. Maybe he hit that much but he probably only hit 45-46% pre-patch.
