Thanks for sharing this piece of information. I have always wanted to learn more about the practical aspect of oil and gas equipments but don't have the opportunity yet. This just brought the practical ideas closer to me without me visiting any refinery or gas plant plant. Keep it up and expecting more from you.
Great job & well-done. Just a little contribution for safety measures. * If possible can you include internal floating roof system for fluid level control, because there was an internal components view of the tank work. * If possible can you include dykes boarder on each of the smaller tanks as spill control measures should there be spillage on one of the tank. * If possible can you include a 2nd piping for fire control say one for water and the other for fume. Thanks.
Much appreciated input... I will definitely model the floating roof soon. Also I will model a fire fighting water system including the storage tanks, vessels, pumps (jockey and diesel), fire hydrant etc.
First of all, draw your landing at to top and bottom depending on the angle (orientation) on the tank. Use helix to draw a reference line from the bottom landing to the top landing using the centre of the tank. Copy the reference line up to obtain your handrail reference line... Draw a circle and use the sweep tool to obtain your handrail. Draw your first step at the bottom with a rectangle and use the array path tool to array yours rectangle to get your steps.. Viola Use your command window to follow up when drawing your Helix. Hope this helps 💪
Excellent...
Greater height 💪💪💪💪💪
Thanks lady V
