He needs to use the F4 wire frame mode he accidentally turned on a while ago and they are obvious
I'm wondering if the little tufts of grass might be causing the combine to turn around as well as the stumps. The grass is unplowed and the equipment might be reading them as the end of the field.
I agree it's not just the stumps the helper will see the un plowed grass and stop
It shouldn't if there's crop all around it and not a physical object like a stump or rock. Should keep right on rockin n rollin
two minutes in, the flowers have run out of water...bit of a mistake there. Yes! The sawmill too. While I disagree with one of your viewers that the greenhouses and sawmill spoil the challenge he is right that the winner will be the one that keeps both in full swing. If you lift you lose! Get that sawmill pumping, man! Keep up on your productions!
The frustration is real, worrying about extra £20 or £30 / litre of crop yet the greenhouses and sawmill that makes literally £1000s a hour keep getting left empty .
@@paulc1983 the part about the small amount of crop he was missing was sarcasm as when he doesn't do that people comment on how he misses bits. It is very unfortunate that Dag. has people on him no matter how he plays.
@@winnerscreed6767 Comes with the territory. One thing I can say about Daggerwin is he usually rises above it and just ignores all the comments. Unlike one of his UK counterparts that takes everything personally and cries about it. Seriously, it has to bother anyone making videos to read the negatives...But that is the nature of the beast.

Great video Daggerwin. Ignore those not showing support, you are still in this, I'd say almost neck and neck. I think you have a huge chance to pull ahead and stay ahead though. You talked about sheep, with the money you pull almost every episode you can get, a spinnery, and tailor shop in a few episodes and once you make clothes, you've won.
He's still in it for sure. It is like trying to pick the winner of a nascar 500 race on the 60th lap. Lots of game left. But Chainsaw has set some serious groundwork, it is not neck and neck. The money in the bank this moment means nothing, in fact, the person with more money at this point may be the one in trouble! He needs to get rolling on those sheep if that is his chosen course. He needs to do something quick!
I would mortgage everything I own to bet against daggerwin. No chance in hell he will win.
I agree with you and I think after getting the spinnery and tailor shop, he should get another animal like cows for the milk, so that he can start sell cheese, chocolate and other milk products. Also I thinkhe should upgrade the seeder
The REASON people tell you to spray just AFTER seeding is because this is the ONLY time that you can spray without getting a PENALTY.
The weed system is DIFFERENT from FS19.
1st stage weeds - > 5% penalty if you spray , 0% if you use a weeder
2nd Stage -> 10% penalty if you spray, 0% if you use a Hoe (plain weeder is not enough)
3rd Stage -> 15% penalty if you spray
4th Stage -> 20% penalty if you spray
NO SPRAYING AT ALL - > 20% penalty
So when you spray final stage weeds like you've done MANY MANY times in various series, you only wasting Herbicide and your time, because you'll get NO improvement on the field. The ONLY way to spay WITHOUT getting a penalty is just after you SEED.
Thank you for clearly defining the situation. I don't play so I always wondered what the breakdown really is. I do hope that with as much as Daggerwin does play he know this information.
Yes! I was going to comment the same thing. The comment re the timing of spraying at 11:04 "As long as it's done, I don't see the problem" is not accurate and there clearly is a benefit to spraying earlier. Best time to spray is straight after planting

I've made a similar comment on a Chainsaw video many months ago, and he changed immediately his habits and he now sprays just after seeding.
Hey daggerwin u should get a couple conveyor belts to sell ur silage makes go faster without having to use the front loader bucket

I could never get the conveyors to work on console, i couldnt find one that would pick it up off the ground. Must have been using the wrong one 🤔

I must say im loving this more chaotic series. The silage pit moments are too funny.
I like both farms. What people need to take in to consideration is that Daggerwin also has to focus on commentating the video. Whereas chainsaw just has to focus entirely on farming and no talking. Both great farms though. Excited to see the end results, hopefully not for another 50 episodes though 😉
you see so many content creators that edit out the mistakes its kind of refreshing to see them left in shows not everything goes as smooth as some would like you to believe, and as we play the game you know things like this happen to all of us, I would however like to see the silage pit emptied in a better way even if its using a conveyor or something :) other than that loving the series and i have to say the farm is growing at a good rate much faster than i thought it would , congrats and keep up the great work :)
Hey Dag now that I'm all caught up with this series I can say that for the workers to work properly on your fields always leave them roughly the width of the harvester head you're currently using, so about 9 or 10 meters, that could equate to the full length of whatever tractor plus implement you have them working with especially when in close proximity to obstacles, I also practice always have my stump grinder in the immediate vacinity where I'm cutting down trees, I then paint the area in grass to make the stumps pop out like a Christmas tree, to save money use little brush and paint where trees fell before removing them, hope this helps and will save you tons of time in future endeavors, no more guess work lol...As always love the content and the series keep up the great work brother...
hahahaha I feel your pain with the silage pit! I had the same thing happening, while it is possible to clear it with a forage wagon when the mound gets high you get stuck. I finally gave up on my save and just bought the volvo with that huge 10,000l bucket. Of course you dont really have that option here. Dilemma: Spend hours unloading the pit with the small bucket or spend the same amount of time trying to get the forage wagon unstuck...I really HATE silage pits...

To make planting cheaper, you could get a Tandem from the Misc section then just buy a second Massey drill
He needs like 4-5x wider to save time…he dumped 500k+ on a combine setup…can’t be that hard to save up 200k for the biggest i game planter or seeder
Hey Daggerwin i love you're Videos. You are the only Farmsim TH-camr i can constantly watch every episode. You got frontloader attachments on the new Vultra. You should see ithe front loader you have fits on it.
One or two mistakes or missteps are not going to hurt you, even if chainsaw is 100% perfect and efficient there is room to work. If you make better choices and find ways to make more money you will win. The thing is though it is the death of a thousand cuts. Each mistake, each misstep adds up. Each poor decision, each missed opportunity. Most of us don't mean you any disrespect, we are rooting for you. You have to know your weakpoints and improve them.

People get mad at you because they see you making the same mistakes repeatedly. They actually like you and for some reason you “winning” this competition actually means something to them. People fail to see that these videos are your job and they fund your true passion which is fixing machines. And there’s nothing wrong with that

Dude, I will never understand why you drive to the store and fill only a single IBC. Why not buy 2 or three and shuttle the fert back to the farm, then you have your IBC where you will use them. Even if it's more than you need for a single field

Now that you've gotten a better looking bank account, I think it's time to ditch loading the silage with the forage wagon and put a front loader on the Valtra (since you set it up for one when you bought it) and load out of the pit that way.
It would take quite a bit longer like that his trailer only holds 15k but the forage wagon holds 26k

You should do a mass cutting (and stump grinding) of the trees at the top of the farm. That way you can drag a couple to the sawmill in each episode to keep that production running. Happy farming.

Hey dagger! Since your base game greenhouse is on auto selling and always has excess water in its tanks you should activate all 3 selections and auto sell them. “3x” the profits with no extra work!
That is wrong, you share cycles and overall would make far less. Better to have a single crop per base game greenhouse.
Hope You're well Dagger, just a suggestion but you should bring back the multiplayer server videos on Sundays if there's enough players that can play I remember being in the server back on FS17 Maybe do a poll. PS Love the videos :)

As far as I know the trailer can only do from one source at a time since you need to press a "start filling" button, unlike when offloading multiple combined into one trailer. But Maybe I'm wrong
Really think these episodes could be longer. I know you doing it based on in game days but these could be double the length and still be entertaining for viewers.

Loving this series, no mans land is my favourite, I hope you continue with this for a long time, even if you get done with the competitive element, keep going and see how you can grow this farm. One thing though, you're bleeding money away by not keeping your productions active, just feed some trees to the sawmill, leaving it deactivated for days (months really) is such a bad idea, all it needs is 15 mins of work to keep it running in background. I think chainsaw already has a furniture store going on top of his. I think you should do sheep and a spinnery and then a clothes factory. You could even try doing Cotton on your huge plot.
That tractor climbing over the silage pit walls is impressive for sure

you can get a front loader for the bendy tractor which may help with the silage and can sell the old tractor
As someone who gets upset at you for not spraying right after cultivating, you get no money penalty for spraying if you do it on day 0, otherwise you lose more and more the bigger the weeds get.
Now you have the bigger water tank you can fill the water at the store way quicker to fill, its at the grain sale pipe bit and its free. Maybe get some chickens too. Keep up the great work daggs!

I think you might have some seed bags at the edge of your newest field. I could be wrong.
you should buy the piece of land between your farm and chainsaw100's, because then you can have a neat road from your farm to the main "road" on the map (this way you wouldn't have to drive on grass to the shop)

Once this series of survival challenge is done you should do one with chainsaw but on using prescion farming
You need a silo to store your grains for better prices. Also you need to start your animal stuff
i think why people get so mad when you are not spraying your fields is because if you spray in the later stages of the weeds growing you actually lose 15% yield! just so you know

If you got canola going in get some bees. Make sure you can get multiple pallets at a time and not the base game pallet marker.

I also have a truck at the store. Load the truck and get it delivered. I am quite far from store on Elm. trucks get stuck on bridges too. doesn't help. things get delivered all the time IRL.

I have a question for the server players: Is Gportal really any better? Chainsaw had a point of bad lag in this session, didnt notice it hit daggerwin, maybe he cut it out. Anyway, I
m playing a server save and it is horrendous. Like every three to five minutes it goes through the shakes, sometimes so bad your vehicle sort of winds up and shoots a hundred odd yards. Just getting really tired of it, I love playing on a server, but man...Just wondering if gportal is all hype or if they are better.
All in all a good episode. I did cringe at the silage loading tho. All these people saying get sheep bla bla baa need to realise that when you have limited time in each play session, Convoluting the work load further is just going to make poor Daggs fall behind. What he really needs to do is rely more heavily on helpers tending to the fields each time he rotates a crop. That way he can get it seeded/Rolled/weeded and fertilised in one go.
Maybe put some wider pathways around the farm too so they (and daggerwin) don't get stuck
And yet he never uses his full play time? He needs to get sheep and get a production chain rolling. Chainsaw has laid some serious groundwork at this point, it doesnt show now but he has things in the works. Meanwhile Daggerwin is letting his greenhouses run dry and his sawmill sit idle. Unless he starts investing his money now he will be left in the dust.

As for the not spraying directly after seeding, i believe every stage of weed growth takes a few % of the total yield.
You should get a beehive to make more passive money as well as some bonus yield for your canola.
Bees are great, I use them almost every save. The problem is honey is just not worth much, only has a single use in the base game productions and the base game beehives are very expensive. It really isnt worth foolling with anything except the large hive and that is twenty grand for one. You need at least ten to even start making money and at that you are only talking a grand a month. Just not worth it in this type competition unless you needed the honey for a mod production. I think the yield bonus is 2%, maybe it is 5%...Again, I enjoy the bees, it is a small part of the big picture, but not really a money maker.
Another water tank beside the first ,could be close enough to load tanker in 1 go.

you really ought to sort out a loader for emptying the silage clamp.
You should get the in-map methane production and put the silage in there, huge profit from methane.
Excellent suggestion. I would be looking at putting in the Platinum edition iron mine and furnace just to be different, but unless you set it to selling you would also need a sellpoint. A serious investment, but once set up it is solid income. In any case, he needs to do something!
Remember people that chainsaw has brought most of his stuff from the used market. Daggerwin has a chance when it comes to selling time

I’d sell the vintage tractor as it’s too small for the jobs it’s doing and sell the trailer on the truck and get an upgrade for the size of the combine and a front loader

So I watch these with my 4 and 2 year Olds so I miss alot of details while I answer 100 questions so go easy on me. Why are the fields so crazy looking? By that I mean the crazy strip and what not. 🍻
He is not playing seasons so the different growth stages will eventually all catch up at harvest. He just didnt want to spend the time to do the whole field in a half hour video so he did them in stages. It is a valid way to play but it drives me nuts...I am an OCD farmer, like everything done 100%. Just different styles...

Isn’t using the forage wagon after the silage is fermented to take it from the pit considered an “autoloading” trailer that they banned?
That's a stretch...
You should look into a second grain trailer and attach them so you can do the selling of grain in one load. Save time and money.
15:04 i don't understand why yall aren't using Precision Farming. It would save time and money and product. Plus you get that environment score reward.
