Whether it is 2km or 20km, time taken is the almost the same. You have to build foundation, then pillars, viaduct etc. It follows a sequence and can be done one after the other. They all have standard intervals. You cannot build a foundation in a week even if you throw money and resources at it

Just look at the areas and where the first phase metro passes and was how much land acquisition and roads widening to bridges amid tight traffic was carried out in the area for 13 plus km wide range of kms .wasn't it done ? So don't be a fool to think that construction didn't happen fast pace with technicality there Aluva to palarivatyom stretch was over 13.4 Km (started the 2013 June - 2017 June itself ) The second strech also of 5 km alspngot completed in two years. .all those details are in net .please check it that's why I said the kmrl is just slow and takes more time to build these small km radius .god knows when the other phases will get connected with such delay
@@jaisygeorgr9845 There was no land aquistion needed for Aluva Palarivattom stretch as it was along the existing NH and it took 4 years. Palarivattom - Maharajas stretch took even longer. This stretch started in Nov 2019. They lost many months due to Covid and lockdown still finished in 27 months
