I actually lose weight because the things I eat and the temperature of things I eat can make my cramps worse. So I basically starve myself 🥲 so thankful for vitamins and supplements lest I faint
They really put the pads in the wrong places..and the girls should have known that..since period pain comes from the uterus and spreads throughout that area most women experience back pain, vaginal cramps, stomach cramps, etc (it's different for every girl tho)..some women experience nausea, bloating, headaches, mood swings, cravings, body pains other than cramps, ect..and it's really horrible to go though each month for most of our lives after 9-12..many men make fun of women bc of our periods but it's really not funny at all..it's honestly offensive to some women...

It is, obviously, but to understand what we struggle with, it helps if the guys (in this instance) aren't stating that periods are painless, even though so many people are clearly in pain during them.

Every two or three months, the pain on the first day can be so intense, I have to run to the bathroom and vomit, and I start sweating so hard and feel as though I'm going to pass out.
my mother had endometriosis and was actually hospitalized due to the pain- there was a cyst and her entire right ovary was removed. i've also suffered large, painful cysts due to some hormonal problems before,, it's truly a handful to deal with alongside regular period pain and symptoms. mad respect to anyone who has to go through this shit

Yeah endometriosis sucks I’ve been hospitalised 4 times a month, every month that because I was in so much pain and had so many cysts and adhesions I couldn’t move.

I’ve literally used one of these machines to ease pain... normal is like a 6 or 7 haha. Also for period pain it should be on your lower abdomen and back 🤷🏻♀️

My thing with this simulator is that it only dies the outside when cramps are inside women's bodies. That's a different level if pain and discomfort then stimulating your abdominal. I also wonder what would happen if a woman tried this while on their period? Would it be relaxing? Would it even affect them?
It would probably be relaxing, like my chiropractor uses a machine like this to loosen tense muscles before you get adjusted. I always have to use it on my tense shoulders

The pain begins between belly button and pelvic bone. It feels like there isn't enough room in there for the parts inside. It radiates around to your back. I used to grab fistfuls of my abdomen and pull outward for a tiny bit of relief. when I released it there were claw marks where my nails dug in and bruises from my finger tips. Those electrode things stimulate muscles. Period pain is through the body, front to back and side to side. The best description I could give a guy is imagine you have a huge gas build up and are unable to fart or burp and the gas is down below your belly button and someone is standing on top of that spot. And that is just the stomach pain. A period is so much more than just pain.

I think it is important to appreciate how strong girls are not only do we experience cramps, blood loss, emotional ups and downs etc. every month we are also overplaying it every single time we go to school or work even though we are suffering from pain and we act like we are fine just so that nobody notices that we actually are on our period in my opinion period cramps can be so extreme sometimes that you could easily compare your physical state with being sick or ill but still, we don’t stay at home. (btw sry if i made any spelling or grammar mistakes, english is not my first language i’m from germany😅)

I am not really sure if it's really sure, but some boys usually just read it as a biological fact...they don't even know it happens....they don't know what period is....And u can't even show that u r in pain...becos no one would understand it. When I'm on my period I don't care if someone knows. I just couldn't care less. It's something nearly every girl has in their life for at least 20 years, I'm not gonna be ashamed of that
For me it's more in the back, than in the stomach... but a tens unit only makes the muscles contract, so it will never induce something similiar to period pain, even with better placement

for me my cramps are like i'm getting stabbed and the knife is being slowly twisted and then i get a really sharp pain that feels like i've been shot with arrows😔🤚
To me, it’s a rusty, toothed knife that’s being twisted. Then years later I was finally diagnosed with endometriosis and dysmenorrhea. Now I take 4 types of painkillers to bring the pain level down to a level where I don’t want to shoot myself to end the misery which I know will last another 48 hours.
I genuinely wish I lived in a culture where talking about periods wasn't taboo. I know for sure when I'll have my own children I'll tell them about it. For the girls because they are immediately concerned and for the boys in order for them to be educated and be there for their sisters and in the future partners.

@@mitsycat2803 I here you with the endometriosis. Mine was around my ovaries so I would bleed into my ovaries every month. One was so damaged that my body reabsorbed it and the other had to be removed, along with my uterus which I had had an unsuccessful ablation on (burning the inside of the uterus to prevent excessive bleeding). I had had one baby before I had the hysterectomy and the worst part was that some scar tissue tore during pregnancy and I had to be in the hospital on pain meds for a week and they said, if it happened again, they would have to do an early c section. Thankfully that didn’t happen and I gave birth at home with no need for pain meds. I wish I could have had more kids, but the pain was to the point where I had been on bed rest for a few months leading up to the surgery. Endometriosis is nothing to take lightly (neither are hysterectomies. You have to be on hormones for the rest of your life and all your health risks are almost doubled, the worst being your risk of osteoporosis, cancer, and heart disease. Not only that, but you can also loose your sex drive and your ability to reach orgasm)

Idk if it's just me but you know when you are walking and then all of a sudden you get this dominant pain in your stomach, so you have to just stop for some seconds because you literally can not walk or talk because of the pain and you just hope it will all be over... But then it happens again on and off for the next hours. That pain for me is 10x more painful compared to breaking my foot, arm, having migraines, etc. That is what I would imagine hell to be like
The worst part about a period is when you get pain 2-3 days before it comes and you have to be on the watchout non stop, then when it comes its the cramps, the heat you feel in your body, back and leg pain (basically bone pain), diarrhoea, tiredness and mood swings. And those bitches still expect us going to work and function properly.

Scientifically women can tolerate more pain due to the higher level of hormone estrogen. Thats why once periods stop and estrogen level comes down, they are more prone to weakened bones.
Now imagine having this while making a quizz or a exam. Giving a work presentation, going to a job interview, taking care of kids, driving, cleaning, etc.

As I have an condition called Endometriosis what you are using is a TENS machine which does not simulate period pains it is actually used to help period pain because the electrical pulses makes your nerves confused and also makes your body release endorphins to help deal with the pain. But as you are using this to replicate period pain you need to have the pads more down sort of inline with your hips to give a true feeling of where the pain is and sometimes the pain is in your back as well. My thing with this simulator is that it only dies the outside when cramps are inside women's bodies. That's a different level if pain and discomfort then stimulating your abdominal. I also wonder what would happen if a woman tried this while on their period? Would it be relaxing? Would it even affect them?
It's like a severe diarrhea, I confirmed it when I was dying last month
It would probably be relaxing, like my chiropractor uses a machine like this to loosen tense muscles before you get adjusted. I always have to use it on my tense shoulders
It would hurt but afterwards the cramps would pretty much stop complaining. (From experience)

The pain begins between belly button and pelvic bone. It feels like there isn't enough room in there for the parts inside. It radiates around to your back. I used to grab fistfuls of my abdomen and pull outward for a tiny bit of relief. when I released it there were claw marks where my nails dug in and bruises from my finger tips.
Those electrode things stimulate muscles. Period pain is through the body, front to back and side to side. The best description I could give a guy is imagine you have a huge gas build up and are unable to fart or burp and the gas is down below your belly button and someone is standing on top of that spot.
And that is just the stomach pain. A period is so much more than just pain.

I think it is important to appreciate how strong girls are
not only do we experience cramps, blood loss, emotional ups and downs etc. every month
we are also overplaying it every single time
we go to school or work even though we are suffering from pain and we act like we are fine just so that nobody notices that we actually are on our period
in my opinion period cramps can be so extreme sometimes that you could easily compare your physical state with being sick or ill
but still, we don’t stay at home.

For me it's more in the back, than in the stomach... but a tens unit only makes the muscles contract, so it will never induce something similiar to period pain, even with better placement

I'm a girl and I'd honestly love to try this, I have basically 0 period pain
for me my cramps are like i'm getting stabbed and the knife is being slowly twisted and then i get a really sharp pain that feels like i've been shot with arrows😔🤚
To me, it’s a rusty, toothed knife that’s being twisted. Then years later I was finally diagnosed with endometriosis and dysmenorrhea. Now I take 4 types of painkillers to bring the pain level down to a level where I don’t want to shoot myself to end the misery which I know will last another 48 hours.

I genuinely wish I lived in a culture where talking about periods wasn't taboo. I know for sure when I'll have my own children I'll tell them about it. For the girls because they are immediately concerned and for the boys in order for them to be educated and be there for their sisters and in the future partners.

@@mitsycat2803 I here you with the endometriosis. Mine was around my ovaries so I would bleed into my ovaries every month. One was so damaged that my body reabsorbed it and the other had to be removed, along with my uterus which I had had an unsuccessful ablation on (burning the inside of the uterus to prevent excessive bleeding). I had had one baby before I had the hysterectomy and the worst part was that some scar tissue tore during pregnancy and I had to be in the hospital on pain meds for a week and they said, if it happened again, they would have to do an early c section. Thankfully that didn’t happen and I gave birth at home with no need for pain meds. I wish I could have had more kids, but the pain was to the point where I had been on bed rest for a few months leading up to the surgery. Endometriosis is nothing to take lightly (neither are hysterectomies. You have to be on hormones for the rest of your life and all your health risks are almost doubled, the worst being your risk of osteoporosis, cancer, and heart disease. Not only that, but you can also loose your sex drive and your ability to reach orgasm)

Idk if it's just me but you know when you are walking and then all of a sudden you get this dominant pain in your stomach, so you have to just stop for some seconds because you literally can not walk or talk because of the pain and you just hope it will all be over...
But then it happens again on and off for the next hours.
That pain for me is 10x more painful compared to breaking my foot, arm, having migraines, etc. That is what I would imagine hell to be like
The worst part about a period is when you get pain 2-3 days before it comes and you have to be on the watchout non stop, then when it comes its the cramps, the heat you feel in your body, back and leg pain (basically bone pain), diarrhoea, tiredness and mood swings. And those bitches still expect us going to work and function properly.

As I have an condition called Endometriosis what you are using is a TENS machine which does not simulate period pains it is actually used to help period pain because the electrical pulses makes your nerves confused and also makes your body release endorphins to help deal with the pain.
But as you are using this to replicate period pain you need to have the pads more down sort of inline with your hips to give a true feeling of where the pain is and sometimes the pain is in your back as well.
