It took me 4 hours to do both arms. Kind of walk the left part into place, then when the hole is kind of lined up you can use the bolt as a lever to move it into place. The right side bolt is easy. On the ball joint, make sure the ball joint is angled where it will go into the hole, then lift it with a jack into the hole, then put the bolt in. Torque the bushing to spec while lifting with a jack on the control arm to where about ride hight is.

It's nice to do when it looks like you've already done it

Pickle fork to separate ball joint. When assembling ,put rear bolt in first, then ball joint due to tight fit, then when doing on floor use small bottle jack under arm to push up to line up front hole.if using hoist tall screw jack.I found it far easier than doing it way as shown or other bids show doing ball joint last.

Put the big vertical bolt in first (exactly the reverse as how removed) - control arm free to align bolt for smooth assembly. Also use anti-seize. Any time you remove the big vertical bolt, you risk breaking the inside the frame capture nut.

It took my about 10 hours just to do one arm. Tips: the control arm does not slide in, and out like in these videos. It is wedged in there when you first take it out. A bottle jack is a must, I had to put mine in the center of the control arm, and raise it up to lock (install) the left bolt in the control arm. Took me 2 hours to get the left control arm bolt in because the hole wouldn't line up without a bottle jack to raise the arm up, and level the hole. The stabilizer link / connecting joint sags when you do this job. You need the bottle jack to raise the arm into the stabilizer link bar, which sags, and doesn't allow you to manual lift the control arm without serious force (bottle jack), the pry bar doesn't work in the hole trick.. The tie rod jamming nut was frozen, passenger vs driver is different directions to loosen, and these videos seem to only show passenger side! For the driver side it was RIGHT > towards rear of car, I had to use 10% of a bottle of liquid wrench. The pivot joint, I used a ball joint separator tool to loosen it out (frozen), then used a pickle fork, chisel and hammer to get the last 50% of it out.
To install, you do the left side first, right side, then last the pivot joint.

Show us how long it took to take that big bolt from the bottom off. That’s the issue right there. You’re showing us after the hard work was done. 😂

Having problems getting the rear bushing to snap in place. Any suggestions if the old rear bushing point was used as a jacking point? The only difference is we are replacing the drivers side front lower control arm.

Dude, you don't torque those two main bolts until you have the weight of the vehicle on the wheel or jack up the wheel to its normal trim height.
