another thing you can do is boost one of you guys to the place above the red card room and then the person up there agros all of them and gets them too pile up underneath them then the other person at the crane throws frags at the heavys and you can take them all out EZ

dayz Sniper 😂 Soloing small oil is so much easier than large! You can push Small oil with almost any gun and take it solo. I find large harder because of all the scientists below that you need to kill before boarding and double the heavy's than smoil has. If you have a sar for large it's not hard but kind of need it for the scientists below or some other ranged weapon to kill them before getting on, a bow can work but it's just to slow for a popped server.
You can also sit inside of red card room. Agro scientists towards you when they go to the sides of the room. Their hands will stick into the room and you can kill them with little to no damage to yourself. Great for primitive stage oil takes.
@Rise_Predator yeah the heavy's are still broken badly I tried it solo and the beam you thru the floor of the crane and stuff so we had no choice but to use the red room to take them. Sad
Before I watched the video I tried to do oil rig for the 1st time and I went to large with my duo and we wasted 3 boats because we kept dying to the scientists and a lot of guns then counters came and I hid and ran away and stole their boat
I have tryed to go for a oil rig with a couple of bows, ammo and some supplys to heal!! Lolololololololol i went horrible bad i couldn’t get in the oil rig is there a way to get in the oil rig without dying? I could kill the scientist in the first platform but is there a way to get in? One more thing where we can find the supply signals?
@Mihcail Kosta15 Your should try Small Oil Rig first maybe. As a Solo you need to kill mostly all the blue scientist from your boat before boarding the rig. Supply signals are found in Military crates, Elite crates & The Locked crate. Just Span % and Luck. Check lots of crates!
But i can confirm that its possible to do it with a bow lolololololololol, even when i tryed it was possible to hit them from a distance!! And would like to play in the same server as u!!
@Mihcail Kosta15 Yes a compound bow is possible for small oil rig. Its's just really slow and you need to hit the headshots. But If you get countered your finished likely.
I’ve only successfully done normal oil once with my friend than we tried to to large and got demolished because we didn’t have high zoom scopes to kill the first scientists
@Charlie Baker. You can just use a semi rifle to kill the scientists. If you cant see them well just turn up your FOV. You don't need 4x scope for that but you do need to clear most of them before you push that for sure.
@Josh Gulbas not sure about the scripts on Console but there are several devices now that practically do the same aim bot & recoil reduction stuff... On PC the cheating problem is 100% worse. Far worse of a problem lol. They have so many different kinds scripts, new ones every other day, PC has an anti cheat also that can only touch the surface of the hackers, admins are full time banning, then they create a new account and go again.. our problem is not good but nothing like the Rust PC problem of cheaters
@Ju' yeah that's true it's really bad. Happened to me last wipe 2 times when exiting the boat and I died because of it. I have to restart my game to fix it again. They don't care to fix it either sadly. They are finally attempting to fix the ladder on small rig this patch on Ptb after about 6 months being broken. It's very sad the game is this poorly supported
I was putting a rust a few days ago solo and I had a base up finally for my first time and I had over 1k stone and wood and a brand new machete I just crafted. Over 100 scrap and while I was cooking on my fire someone silently raided me of all my shit. This game really pisses me off and I just started.
@cmc That's so terrible that happens Bro. Bugs in the game can really mess with your wipe. I was farming ocean had full inventory & found first gun - db, then server crashed, server rolled back like 20 mins and I lost everything lol. I took a break after that 😈
@cmc Haha it's usually like that, especially on these official servers that's full of clans, it's not only you. Rust can be sooo brutal. The fulfilling grind and build up and then the sudden letdown, being back to holding a rock & deciding if you want to hit that tree again! 🤣
@Rustconsole Ps5 yeah cheating is still a thing that's for sure. I've played monthly severs last couple wipes on 60 pop server it's so much easier, it's too easy really.. much more laid back in comparison to weekly, now there's still huge zergs on there too which makes no sense. 60 pops are intended for solos and small groups. If your not online a lot you will be Offlined raided no doubt. I leave my lights on when I'm offline.. even if it means burning 4k wood in a campfire. I usually burn low grade in a lamp cause it's so cheap. Most won't online raid you.. Cheers
@Ivar Willems I do Lag bro. I find since last update it's been a lot worse on servers. Around the map is far worse than on the rig. I did find that the rig is fairly smooth tho. I takes 3 seconds to open a box sometimes 🤣
I haven’t done small oil rig yet but every server I join only has a large oil so I guess I’m starting with this Edit: I managed to do it after dying, my Tommy breaking and almost running out of ammo on the last heavy scientist. the loot was meh I got c4 which is good, but only a couple revolvers, dbs, grenade launcher and a spas. No ak’s no smgs or anything like that
@creme brulee good to see you pulled it off. I think you did good for loot. C4 is never a guarantee so that's good in itself. Also GL is good and not always easy to get either. I think you did well. Since the loot table was updated it's not nearly as good, Hardly any ammo in return.. If you get a C4 it's a good run bro. Go for cargo next if you want the best loot 👍🏼
Took large rig solo once,went there tommy hazzy and came out ak metal full inventory of ammo and guns,will never stop talking about it
