東京散歩 月島・佃【4K】【HDR】 Walking around Tsukishima and Tsukuda

今回は東京都中央区の月島と佃周辺を散歩しています。
東京メトロ有楽町線、都営大江戸線が走る月島は明治時代に東京湾の埋め立てによって誕生したエリアです。特に「もんじゃ焼き」の名所として有名で、もんじゃストリートには多くのもんじゃ焼き店が並んでいます。また、再開発も進み高層マンションや商業施設が立ち並ぶ一方で、昔ながらの木造建築も残っています。
佃は、江戸時代に大阪から移住してきた漁師たちが住み着いた場所で、隅田川河口の干潟を埋め立てて作られました。この地域は、昔ながらの風情を残しつつ、佃煮の発祥地としても知られています。佃煮は、保存食として漁師たちが作り始めたもので、今でも佃煮屋は営業しています。

This time we are taking a walk around Tsukishima and Tsukuda area in Chuo-ku, Tokyo.
Tsukishima, where the Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line and the Toei Oedo Line run, is an area created by the reclamation of Tokyo Bay in the Meiji era. It is especially famous for its monja-yaki, and many monja-yaki restaurants line Monja Street. Redevelopment seems to be underway, and while high-rise condominiums and commercial facilities stand side by side, traditional wooden buildings still remain in the area.
Tsukuda was settled by fishermen who emigrated from Osaka in the Edo period and reclaimed the tideland at the mouth of the Sumida River. The area is known as the birthplace of tsukudani (food boiled in soy sauce and sugar), while retaining its old-fashioned atmosphere. Fishermen began making tsukudani as a preserved food, and tsukudani shops are still in business today.
