Wow..I Always thought Gemma would be one of the hardest characters to vid, but you have made it look so easy here. This was flawless, perfect perfect PERFECT song choice. Another amazing job, Gemma was such a complex character, one with so many layers and you brought every one of them to the surface
Nice. I always hated Gemma's guts, but it was hate tinged with a grudging admiration. She really knew how to survive, and to manipulate and control people like a conductor in a symphony. So many moving parts. Juice had it spot on when he said she was the gatekeeper. An integral piece of the show, couldn't have done it without her. One reaps what one sows, however. They were the Sons, and Gemma was the Anarchy.
i know i’m SUPPER late but this mv is honestly amazing. this song screams gemma. it showed every part of the character of gemma, it was flawless. seriously this is amazing no other gemma mv will ever touch this one. this was truly breathtaking. 3:11 to end has to be my favorite part. great job.

That's her whole character at the end, she would have said anything until there was nothing left to say. And when Jax shoots her at the end and "you don't want none", so late, so late. And the same line for Unser too, ahhh genius. OMG and at Tara too. Haha these are all people who'll die because of her, nicely done. And when Unser said she was gonna die alone, even when I didn't know she would kill Tara, that was when I knew it would happen for both of them. There was something about the way he said it, such a truthful moment. I'm glad you made the parallel:D Gemma waiting to get home at the church...I wonder if she was on this path of destruction even in the pilot or if she turned there only at some point in the series. But that moment described so perfectly how she was just waiting and buying time until the hopeless end. The "too old to run" does sound like that was the moment when it was already too late. Great video. Best tribute video to Gemma. I liked Gemma. Everything she did was for her family or the club. Although in S7, I had grown to hate her. The pain she caused Jax as well as Abel. That kid had been thru a lot as Jax once pointed out. But I guess, lies is what she did best but eventually cost her her life by the hand of her own child. Sad ending but it had to be done.
As much as I grew to have a real bitterness about Gemma's character as the series got on, this vid really makes you remember there was so much more to her character. As deceitful and backstabbing as she could be she always had pure motivations. Her actions misconstrued what her real emotional capacity was at times throughout the show, (hmmhmm the final season). Even so you do have to remember the Gemma we grew to love and hate throughout the show, before she murdered her daughter in law in cold blood which led to just hate. This video is a masterpiece and bravo to you for another amazing video! Keep em coming!

Gemma is definitely one of my favorite characters on SOA. Everything she did was to protect her family. I don't blame her for turning into a cold hearted, protective bitch that she was. She loved JT with every fiber of her being & JT cheated on her with Maureen, while their child, Tommy, was dying. He left her alone, so she found somebody who loved her, Clay. Gemma was young, naive, heartbroken and in love. She became protective over Jax because despite being married to Clay, Jax was the only thing she had left. Coming to her relationship with Tara, at 18, Tara wanted Jax to leave everything he knew to be with her while she followed her dreams and for him to leave his behind. Honestly, I think when Tara came back to Charming she knew that Jax still loved her & I think she knew that Kohn would come for her and she knew that Jax would protect her. Gemma knew that & as any mother would do, she was going to protect her only child. Gemma has been with SOA since the redwood original and honestly I think she knew the club better than anyone, better than Clay and Jax. Honestly, she probably would've been a better President than both of them. Sometimes Gemma went a little overboard and at times she was selfish but every decision she made was for Jax. Was for her family.
To protect what? They are all dead because of her. That's a manipulative lie. She did everything for herself, because she is a pathological liar, possessive, abusive, egoistic, violent woman.

She wasn't genuinely evil, she just loved her family and would do everything to protect them. I literally cannot imagine any other human being on the planet portraying that character better. Gemma Teller is probably one of my favorite characters out of any TV show or movie I have seen. Her own personal actions and decisions had definitely and ultimately hurt her own family the most in life despite her undying determined and singleminded love for her son and grandchildren. To me , it was toxic family in buildup self destruction circle of life despite their love for each other and the club family. Their family had went into full circle from beginning of JT’s death to Jax’s death that left Wendy and Nero raising Abel and Thomas together away from Teller family and their club ending on wondering what Abel and Thomas will do when they are grownup adults with club ring. This video touches my heart and soul!
She is a strong character, a strong woman. Sometimes irritating, nosy, can be extremely manipulator and possessive. Did a lot of bad things specially the one that got Jax and the club into trouble. But still love her.

(and tig/gemma. xD just saying... xD) i still think about that scene you put here. when Jax says thats he still loves her. i mean... the relation between them in the begining... he always treated her like the old lady. he knew she is the queen, but i think he has no respect for her. she was just there and he was mostly cold to her. there was this space, this wall between them. so i was sure he will kill her without blinking and then he crys and says SHE IS HIS MOM. and you know, i was sitting there and thinking... DAMN SHE IS HIS MOM. not the woman who gave birth, not mother... MOM. this was full of love. FULL OF LOVE. and i was shocked. i think part of me still is. about our queen... she is my fav in the show. she is. SO COMPLEX. so amazing. so badass and so vulnerable. i have no idea how much can i say about your perfect and pure editing. you know i am your fan. you are a genius. i can say that all the time. all the time. so if you feel bad - call me i will tell you how much i love your vidding and how talented you are. all that for free!:D

Besides Jax, Gemma was my favorite character on the show. She was clever, conniving, manipulative, filled with both heart and hatred. And was the literal Key to the entire RedWood sons organization. Katey Sagal was so incredibly good at bringing her character to life, it was truly a pleasure to watch.

Gemma wasnt stupid. When she killed Tara and then afterwards found out she didn't have all the facts, she knew she was living on borrowed time. She knew that eventually Jax was going to find out and when he did she knew she had to pay for what she did the SAMCRO way.
I hate her … but I love her. And when the rape happened. I didn’t give a shit about how badly I disliked her … I know what rape is like, she had it worse. I respect that woman. But also hate her. It’s weird.
I love katey sagal and the character of Gemma, most of the time. Gemma could be so pretty at times and others they had her be so trampy. Ex: first scene where we see Nero , he's having sex w Gemma and she on all fours looking down. They have her look up quickly, closeup on her face, seriously bad angle for Gemma's face.. She also does this closing her teeth thing and shoving her bottom lip up into her top lip, very unflattering. They have Wendy do this, even Tara sometimes. Not a good look for these pretty ladies.

Gemma wasnt stupid. When she killed Tara and then afterwards found out she didn't have all the facts, she knew she was living on borrowed time. She knew that eventually Jax was going to find out and when he did she knew she had to pay for what she did the SAMCRO way.

I love katey sagal and the character of Gemma, most of the time. Gemma could be so pretty at times and others they had her be so trampy. Ex: first scene where we see Nero , he's having sex w Gemma and she on all fours looking down. They have her look up quickly, closeup on her face, seriously bad angle for Gemma's face..
She also does this closing her teeth thing and shoving her bottom lip up into her top lip, very unflattering. They have Wendy do this, even Tara sometimes. Not a good look for these pretty ladies.
