If you track the pimple in the first node, it will be much easier for Resolve to track it. Doing it after you already softened the skin makes it more difficult to track.
When you added the 3rd node you go to Tracker window but don't track anything. Why so? And when you adjust your power window during tracking in 4th node you don't switch to Frame but stay on Clip mode which moves your power window in already tracked part at the beginning so you'll end up with wrong mask.
This video is very helpful. I'm new to this platform and am still learning how to edit videos in DaVinci Resolve. Btw, how can you make the subject's skin lighter or brighter? Thanks.
I did not have luck tracking a blemish. It kept losing the spot (of course, on my chin, and I'm nonstop talking and moving my head. The tracking would stop, and I'd have to reposition it. When i got to the end. The beginning markers were way off.
i'm wondering how folks are able to record the screen of the free version of DR? i've tried but i get these big black bars across the screen from one corner to the other, like fingers, blocking most of the screen. any idea what i might be doing wrong? is it a setting i need to change or something? also, can this be done in the free version? if so, is it the same as you described? thanks in advance!

Glad it helped!
