The Statue of Equality is a statue of the 11th-century Indian philosopher Ramanuja, located on the premises of the Chinna Jeeyar Trust at Muchintal, Ranga Reddy district in the outskirts of Hyderabad. It is the second tallest sitting statue in the world.
Sri Ramanujacharya was a philosopher and theologian who lived in the 11th century. He is considered the founder of the Sri Vaishnavism movement, which emphasizes the worship of Lord Vishnu and his consort, Sri Devi. Ramanujacharya's teachings emphasized the importance of devotion, self-surrender, and the attainment of salvation through the grace of God.
