No kidding, I can barely make out the lyrics in the released album version and its weird to have them come crystal clear here. I know its a stylistic thing to distort the vocals in the mix and push forward the instruments, but its almost surreal to hear the vocals up front and center instead.
Hate to say it but with the live album coming on 20th November can't see it being this year. Wouldn't it be great to them to do a Fleet Foxes though and drop it out of the blue as a surprise - but make sure physical copies are available.
They have some really great songs, This is not one of them. This is music failure, just repetitive 2 chord changing waste, and they produce several songs like this
