Just skip to 3:02 and turn the black bulb bit with the black wires on it, exchange the bulb and turn the black bit back in WITHOUT REMOVING THE WHOLE UNIT.
@@Adnankhanchannel1 hm, I do not know how to check the wiring leading to the rear right lamp because I do not know how the wiring harness is going. the fuses seem ok after I opened and looked at each one individually
well I was doing it for the first time so got to make sure i do it properly and i wanted to demonstrate how is it done but good to know it can be done like that as well
sadly no. VW passat is a very difficult car to do simple things like changing a fucking light bulb requires removing the entire housing for front or back. Its probably the most annoying car I've ever owned in my life.

Brother you dnt have to unscrew. I did twice with out unscrew it's easy and u only need ur fingers

You have somewhere wiring open or check the fuse box on the driver right side panel! I would get it check by an Electrican!
