I don’t feel that the British entry represented me in any way shape or form. I could give my judgement but the public vote says it all. Something is really wrong with Olly. The performance is physically too exacting for him, I think, as he was constantly short of breath. His intonation was off, even worse so last night. He also missed his cue AGAIN and therefore was out of time with the track after the "spoken" bit. And unlike his semifinal performance, he was unable to sustain the long note towards the end, as he just didn't have the breath control for it. Together with Norway, the intonation was simply the worst of the entire night. No autotune in live performance....

Israel came 5th not 6th (this presenter got it wrong). They had the second highest number of public votes. And they had the highest number (from 15 countries) of the top point 12 for the public vote. Speaks volumes. The public chose Israel over all the countries that spoke out against them.

I actually thought the UK song was catchy but the dance routine completely spoilt it.
That I agree with. I blame the BBC, they are responsible for what they broadcast and they should have advised him against this staging for a family show and the audience in very conservative countries. The song was well liked in Europe but the staging was too much. I felt bad for him, he worked hard and got a lot of abuse from pro Palestine supporters for participating, even had death threats. He behaved well unlike the Dutch, Greek and Irish entries being antagonistic towards the Israeli girl. The abuse on this article just isn't fair.
