I never knew that my Nan joined the Chinese united front, thanks for the info :) Great series by the way I have learned more from these first 8 videos than watching hours of dedicated tutorials. Subbed
I am rewatching this stream I had 2 problems. 1. I got problems with oil and rubber. When is it best to build them as Italy on a historical path? 2. How do you refit your subhunters. I went out of convoys.
@@MordredViking Thank you very much Mordred, I am delighted by your explanation and response on question. I learned the game by this series. I can win battles now, but not as a weaker one yet.
Well as far as armored units it appears Mordred is somewhere close. April 1937 131st Centauro Div. 1939 2 more Armored Divisions were formed, 132nd and 133rd, Ariete and Littorio respectively. was not till I believe 1940 where they received the M11/39 tanks. Also 1939 approaches quickly, Mordred should have at G-50, C.200 SM81. and SM79 planes very shortly if they are to keep Air parity with the UK.
Thanks for all the help. I just have a question. Looking at the naval research tree at 16:20, you have way more unlocked than I have and I thought I had been following you pretty closely. I did do my own thing and annexed Yugoslavia because the spanish civil war never fired and it's 1939, but I still thought I followed you closely. However, I'm just now researching early destroyer hull I, a 1922 technology. My question is, do you have some sort of dlc that gives Italy the early destroyer hull without having to research it or did I just miss the parts where you started resesearching first level of ship hulls? I also noticed that your game has the naval treaty with the UK whereas my game does not have that, as well as my game not having a specific ship that yours seemed to start with. I am playing the tutorial, not sure if that makes a difference. I also bought several DLCs including man the guns, but my game had already started when I bought them so maybe that's what's different. Thanks again for the great guide.
Been really enjoying this series. Am just getting into the game, though I have had it for a while, didn't understand it and left it for a couple of years. A couple of questions if I may. I notice you view the Leader Details for the Generals. When I look at my Generals, there isn't a button for details. Is this a DLC to get them? Also, I have the historical events ticked, but I am at Jan 1937 and the Spanish civil war is yet to kick off. Is this normal? Appreciate any help and will be continuing to watch the series to try and get an idea on handling the game.
Yeah, that's a DLC. I forget which one, a google search for HOI4 dlc will tell you which ones give you which. As far as the Spanish Civil War, what you have ticked is "historical focuses," not historical events. Historical focuses means the AI players will choose the historically accurate options in their focus trees. This does generally lead to the same major events as a lot of major events are tied to national focuses but the details will change (otherwise it would be quite boring if you could always predict what month something happens!).
They’re cheaper and will draw less supply. Will be using them in Africa. Also it can be useful to have lots of cheap units to cover more territory (especially when garrisoning).
@@MordredViking Damn. Should have went with the befriend option I guess. Not worth starting WW2 in mid 1937 especially before my German overlords have built up. They still have only like 50 troops, and haven't conquered anything yet.

"Screw it. Let's go deep."
Spain capitulates.
You are explaining really good.
The Roman Navy helped Rome win the "First Punic War" Not the second

Probably late 1938 as they do take a while to complete. Sonar and Depth Charges.

Yeah, I suspect that's your issue. Many (most?) DLC features will only be enabled when you start a new game.

@@MrOhioutod Thanks very much.
Sorry for keep asking, but could anyone explain why he's training the colonial division rather than regular infantry division?

France has Yugoslavia guaranteed from the start and doesn't ever seem to revoke it in my run.
Yeah, that’s new with the latest update
