I was raised by my step mother, man that woman is just heaven sent. We lost our dad when I was in form two, things got so tough for my family. She always told me to keep the spirit, fight for a better tomorrow. I made it to campus, I had to defer classes due to finances but I graduated eventually. I look back right now the far we've come and I am so happy that my younger sisters will not go through the same struggles I went through. She's always been my anchor and pillar of strength and I live each day doing my best to make sure that my family's today is better than yesterdays. This song is motivating a young man that you are in the right track, mama is proud but you can make her even more proud!
