My favorite Hank album. And I’ve got em all. Only album he cut that was produced by Waylon. The whole CD is classic. This was when Hank decided “this here music from now on will be down home my own.”
I have saw him 8 times and got to ster his jamboli with him at the cabin he owns in Tennessee. He was one of the nicest guys I have met. The best in my books. Everybody in OKC loves ya Hank. A country boy can survive. If you don't like Hank Jr. You can kiss my okie ass.
As a musician myself, with 30+ years under my belt, of playing mainly Texas honky tonk s, and more recently, doing solo shows in many restaurant,/bars , Ive come to understand this crazy business a little better. We all have our Ego's, attitudes, ect., to deal with and hopefully learn to keep in check, learn from our mistakes and hopefully find our niche, where we can be happy entertaing folks that come out to the shows, without overdoing the booze/drugs that will certainly lead to our demise. Hank, Jr is definitely living proof that by sticking to your guns and working hard at what you love, you'll come out on top. Junior has certainly done that and at 70 yrs. old, is still rolling right along! He gave alot of us the courage to dream and take chances following our passion!! God bless ya Ol' Bocephus!!!
My personal favorite of all time is Waylon but I'd never argue or knock anyone for saying Bocephus is their favorite because he's defiantly made a case for being the best..I just love listening to all the real artist singing real songs....can't go wrong with Hank,Hank Jr,Haggard,Cash,Jennings, Jones,Paycheck, DAC,CDB,Skynyrd,Marshall Tucker Band,Almann Bros,And many more of our heroes from the past and Jamey Johnson and a few more newer guys..but I can't get into the stuff they play on the radio around here 18 miles from Nashville and can't find a decent country station on regular FM radio
@@terry3855 I know he was wanting to stay in between Nashville and Montgomery so he had that place in Cullman for years but thank you for responding the stories you could tell I can’t imagine, God boss sir 🙏
Hank, whether you think he sings good or not, is one bad ass guitar player. He was taught by everyone who was anyone. With that many teachers you can't help but learn a thing or two. I mean, he was the son of a legend. What was he going to do? Flip burgers? The opening riff is sick...
I dont know. I had the audio from a video I found on You Tube in 2012 ( Which disappeared for some unknown reason). I kept the audio and made this video.

He was at his BEST
@@markfowler7400 I am not sure but I think he did. He was not to happy with Nashville at the time.

My Dad had a 1965 Ford with the 352 and a Holley carburetor and it would run.
