Also, in both cities there is a very clear gap between the upper class and lower class so that could be shown to create an interesting game play experience.

I am amazed at the realistic look of the cities and the Zois. I can see that they have some detailed animations (making food, dancing, interactions, etc.) I am curious to see how Zoi life evolves - from young people getting together, getting married, starting families, getting older, etc. Will they have a set time for life stages to pass or have an option to freeze Zoi age until we want to celebrate a birthday / new age group? How big a family can we have in one household? This definitely looks interesting!
We know there are set life stages but I am hoping that there are ways to slow down or disable aging. I’d have to double check the amount of time but it seemed like a short lifespan and it was brought to the director’s attention and even he admitted it seems kinda fast. I’m hoping with his reaction that it means they are aware some of us would like longer life stages or an option to disable.
I hope they'll add the ability to travel between worlds/vacation in them would be fun. I could imagine it as a DLC with hotels, b&bs, caravan sites etc since I assume none of that is in the base game.

Who took this play footage? Because, if this was someone on their team - it’s laggy on THEIR computer, imagine it on your own (very likely less beefed) computer.
Which footage in particular? I have slowed down the video in some places which may possibly account for some footage not appearing smooth. They are still optimizing the game. The footage shared with us so far is pre-optimization.
I feel like each continent should have different countries states and cities in it up where anywhere you go you have access to it either by plane or drive
That’s kinda in line with Sims 3 CAW (Create-a-World), right? We won’t have that anytime soon, it seems. I touched on that in my last Build Mode video if you’re interested. I really hope they eventually implement a feature like this.
Very nice looking. But it is soooo detailed that I'm afraid only Very powerful computers will work. I definitely would play it. The Santa Monica based city, definitely my favorite, the third one I hope it's not Singapore since Seoul and Singapore are very similar in many ways. A city in Thailand or the Phillipines would be cool. Although in the map they mark it as somewhere close to Bali. I don't know if that has anything to do with accuracy in game. I would have imagined the third one to be in Europe or south America, but is a Korean game so it makes sense to be close to their neck of the woods.
My biggest worry is the performance. Since just about every trailer and teaser I've seen the video is struggling to keep a smooth framerate. Like thats News section where it's chugging.
I have not seen what you’re describing in other videos. I need to put a disclaimer on this video. I drastically reduced the speed in some clips since the original goes by so fast. So that makes some frames in this video appear laggy. Sorry about that. It’s definitely something I’ll keep in mind for future videos.
I don’t understand how some careers are region locked, like you can be a firefighter in the South Korea based city, but not if California based city? How will it work with other city, like will medical career or business career only be available in certain cities?
Perhaps they will add it later? Having the kimbap deli worker in Dowon makes sense, though there can be Korean restaurants in Bliss Bay, too. I guess also they were trying to give each region its own thing, so to speak. I’m just speculating, of course.
I’m sure we will have the ability to move our zois from one city to the next. The director has spoken before of adding modes of travel such as airplanes so I can see it being possible to move a household.
I hope the 3rd city is Singapore. My home country. Can show the futuristic, green & culture parts of Singapore. Other than Singapore, I hope it’s city based on cities in Indonesia. Those have more Southeast Asian feel with the cultures & whole bunch of wonderful nature. Indonesia is like a place where you can see the mix of Mainland SEA culture & Maritime SEA culture.
There’s more than just a trailer. There’s a few interviews with the developers where they share behind the scenes footage on the game. They also allowed a few TH-cam content creators to play the game themselves for a short amount of time to showcase the game. It is planned for release later this year.

Hi, Debra. My other video goes a little into gameplay features like careers and relationships. The Zois are supposed to have a more in depth personality than Sims, for example. I’m sure we’ll get more info before game release.
They said they would announce the required specs closer to the early access release (which is later this year) since they are still optimizing the game and don’t have an answer yet. For PC, the game will be available on Steam, which has an offline mode. They said they are considering some multiplayer features which I imagine would require internet connection to use, but I imagine you can play offline as single player.
The developer hasn’t said as much yet. It is a highly requested feature on the wishlist channel of their discord so I’m hoping they will consider it for the future.
They said they are considering multiplayer features like inviting your friends to your Zoi’s house or other place in the city… however they said nothing is set in stone yet.
I’m ecstatic about this release but I will absolutely point out cons if I find any. With the game not being out yet, it’s not easy to find cons. So far, the only “cons” I can think of are potentially needing high spec PC (which is unconfirmed since specs reqs have not been announced) and limitations with build mode. I’m very interested to hear from you if you have spotted any other cons, though. I will not shield this game from constructive criticism. Pls let me know if you have any. 👍
@@SugarZoi they haven’t been transparent about he pricing model, we don’t know if the AI they use is sourced ethically, and we don’t know if it’s an online only game
As someone who lives in Southeast Asia, I am excited to learn that Inzoi will release with a city based on Southeast Asia in their base game. Back when I was an avid Sims player, I was disappointed how lacking The Sims series was to Asian culture because it made their games heavily inaccurate to the life I lived. I once made a thread in a forum about The Sims series being too American and it became my most popular thread on that site. From then on, I wished for an Asian company to make a life sim game so that I could relate more to the game. Now that Inzoi is in development, I'm happy that we're getting Asian representation, and more than that, specifically Southeast Asian representation too!
I think EA tried with Sims 3 World Adventures (it includes China as a travel destination) and Sims 4 Snowy Escape. But I know what you mean, it’s not the same. InZOI is also using consultants for building cities with cultures they’re not too familiar with such as the American based city of Bliss Bay. I’m hoping they continue that for other cities across the globe.
@@SugarZoi I have never played an expansion pack of The Sims for various reasons, so I don't know what you mean by "I know what you mean, it's not the same."; but let me take a guess. Is the problem in World Adventures that it presents China as a tourist destination rather than a place to reside in? On another note, I remember a concern of users in my thread said that if EA did implement more foreign culture into the game, they might just be stereotypical. I can see that concern. I'm pleased to read you say that the Inzoi team has consultants to rely on for making the cities outside of their own country. I think Inzoi is going in the right direction. They're trying to make the setting authentic, rather than exotic or stereotypical like what EA did with The Sims series. My real wish for The Sims was to be more culturally neutral. When I said I wished for an Asian company to make a life sim game so that I could relate more, I said that assuming that companies will always overwhelmingly make their games represent their own country only. But Inzoi, being made by a South Korean company, appears to not only cover East Asia and America, which would make sense as those must be their primary target audiences, but surprisingly Southeast Asia too! So I'm glad the Inzoi team is making the game cover different cultures and societies. This is a philosophy I think The Sims never had.
Not enough optimization in the world if you’re running on old hardware. I’ve heard from people who’ve actually tried the demo played on rigs with i9 processors, don’t know which generation of i9 tho. If it’s an older generation of i9, you might be able to get away with an i5 or i7 depending on the generation.
@@ElleTakeoverno problem, I think if you can get something like an i7-1300k processor, with a RTX GPU, you should be fine. I wouldn’t worry too much about the storage since that’s easily upgradable on the after market.
I don't know if they have implemented swimming at all yet. At least as of November of last year zois could not swim. But there are pools so I'm sure swimming will be possible in the future.
I would love this game because it looks so good but lm not going to get it because of the way the babies are and they will be the same as the sims 4 babies you can even leave them on there own with no babysitter
Maybe they will develop the infant stage a bit more with time. I know in depth gameplay for pregnancy and family life is one of the most liked topics on the wishlist channel of their discord.
You mean to add your voice to your zoi? I haven’t heard anything like that yet. They have a facial capture feature where you can control your zoi’s facial expressions via an iPhone camera and they are also working on a motion capture feature as well. The game is single player but they said they are considering multiplayer features such as inviting a friend over to your city or home.
I would love to see the cities inspired by Paris or Venice.

If it were me, I’d wait until they officially announce the recommended specs in a few months so you make the right purchase (if needed).
We are tired of seeing the same places in from the US, Asia, Europe, and Australia. Africa and the Middle East exists too.
I understand how you feel. Hopefully we will eventually get cities from those various countries. I would love that!
will it be multiplayer?
They said they are considering multiplayer features like inviting your friends to your Zoi’s house or other place in the city… however they said nothing is set in stone yet.
I really hope it's multiplayer. 🙏
·rd city a countryside village. so we have tastes for everyone, if you want arrive to more people, countryside city too
Im immigrating to Korea.
😅
I'd love to see anyplace which has done away with places ruined by capitalism.
you should really try to be less biased and analyze BOTH pros and cons
@@PoprocksPpThey'll all learn the hard way...watch and see.
@ConversasNaSelva Get a life that doesn’t involve simping over a game
I agree. People are gushing over the aesthetics too much. Haven’t seen too much regarding game play tho.
Any idea whats the ideal specs for a game like this?
The developer is still optimizing the game so we won't know until they tell us closer to the release date late this year.
@@SugarZoi ah okay thank
Not enough optimization in the world if you’re running on old hardware. I’ve heard from people who’ve actually tried the demo played on rigs with i9 processors, don’t know which generation of i9 tho. If it’s an older generation of i9, you might be able to get away with an i5 or i7 depending on the generation.
@@NotLikeUs17 it helps thanks. I need a new pc anyway so I’m just looking for #s
@@ElleTakeoverno problem, I think if you can get something like an i7-1300k processor, with a RTX GPU, you should be fine. I wouldn’t worry too much about the storage since that’s easily upgradable on the after market.
Can you swim in the ocean?
I don't know if they have implemented swimming at all yet. At least as of November of last year zois could not swim.
But there are pools so I'm sure swimming will be possible in the future.
I would love this game because it looks so good but lm not going to get it because of the way the babies are and they will be the same as the sims 4 babies you can even leave them on there own with no babysitter
Maybe they will develop the infant stage a bit more with time. I know in depth gameplay for pregnancy and family life is one of the most liked topics on the wishlist channel of their discord.
시골이 없어서 시골이 있었으면 좋겠어요
I hope eventually we will have it. I love the countryside.
Multiplayer and able to use your real voice
You mean to add your voice to your zoi? I haven’t heard anything like that yet.
They have a facial capture feature where you can control your zoi’s facial expressions via an iPhone camera and they are also working on a motion capture feature as well.
The game is single player but they said they are considering multiplayer features such as inviting a friend over to your city or home.
Yes, if we get multiplayer, I would LOVE to use my voice to talk with friends/other players!! 🤍
Shut up and take my money!
😆
steam?
The Steam store. The director said the game would initially be released for PC. Console comes soon after.
Release date?
We have not been given a definitive date yet. We only know “late 2024”.
We may possibly get more info towards the end of August on the release date.
@@SugarZoi Thank u 💜
Choose Some cities in Africa too please
I would love to see that eventually, too!
