Anyone can stand on the sea shore and see out over 100miles the light of a boat and then it disappears. So unless your 8 inch tall you would not be able to see the boat light so far out, but you about 6 foot tall so you can see pretty far, that boat light before it disappears, you need to learn about sailing and proving yourself studied.
