She asked about how they met, started the band, asked about Andy and Roger, just once, asked about bands they liked, etc. I dont see how that could have hurt their tour. I love that DD trio, but John is my absolute fave. They still got to talk about the tour, they sang, so all is well. It was a great interview imo.
@ciarra justice I'm not really sure, but I think there was talk that there were actually a couple reasons that they took a hiatus from DD when they did, and this is just a guess, but I think that's when they formed the two separate groups, because they were supposedly having some management and contractual problems, and were trying to resolve those conflicts. After all, they still needed to make a living. Maybe they discovered they needed less meddling, and that they no longer needed a so called "middle man." As it was, they ultimately did fire their managers and started managing themselves. They mentioned this in the documentary, "Three to get ready."
He actually took his inspiration from David Sylvian/Japan and actually liked their music. Which is why there is a lot of similarities. Nick has stated this that he liked Japan and took some inspiration from Japan/David Sylvian both musically and visually x
