You know you're approaching LA when the highway gradually widens to 12 lanes. 🤣

This was really cool. The Kellogg Interchange was very impressive, I'm surprised I've never heard of it before. After the first few miles on 71, that really did shape up to be a nice freeway. Thanks for sharing.
For whatever reason, (probably traffic congestion), there aren't a ton of videos of Interstate 10 through LA. Which is somewhat surprising given how many LA videos there are online.

@@AsphaltPlanet1 I'd agree with the whole traffic congestion thing. I filmed I-10 from downtown LA to I-15 last summer, but there was stop-and-go traffic in places, even all the way out to I-15. Granted I was filming in the afternoon on a weekday, so to have traffic was not surprising. I'm not sure if I'll actually upload this video; if I do, it will definitely have a lot of sections that are skipped due to the traffic.
Have you guys seen the new carpool from 605 all the way to Holt? It really is great but I wish they finished construction from Holt all the way up to that hill which leads to the 57 and 71
@@compdude100 definitely congestion, I've used the 10 a few times to get from LA city out to Ontario, and east of the 710, it's a mix of stop and go all the way to the 15, CA 60 is much better
8:07 Kellogg Interchange is like a stack interchange with a fifth highway segment in the southeast (CA-71). No offense, but it's true.

At 9:45, SR-71 is no longer in Los Angeles County by that point; the county line is just south of SR-60 (at 9:34, the county line sign is barely visble as an SUV in the left lane blocks it). The segment of SR-71 with the HOV lanes (through Chino) is in San Bernardino County, and the highway narrows back down to 4 lanes when it enters Riverside County south of SR-83.
yeah, I know. It's one of a couple of typos in this video.
I love going on this highway me and my family get off the 215 to the 10 east to go visit my aunt and cousins in Desert Hot Springs
Great Video, funny thing the first car i see in the center lane is a mini, which i help build, it's quite strange to see them. On a visit to Pittsburgh last year, coming out of the hotel on the first day the first car i see is a mini.
I drive these freeways every day and I don’t care one bit about traffic. Los Angeles is heaven on earth…
I never realized that the Kellogg Interchange was still L.A County.

I 10 and I 95 are one of the most famous interstates. Connecting new york city and Los Angeles. They connect at Florida.
I’ve been on California state route 71 and I wonder if this freeway will get widen to an eight lane freeway like California state route 57 west of state route 71.
That’s awesome! However i don’t really like driving on the interstate freeways mainly because they get really heavy traffic

Gawd lead for LA bring the second biggest city it sure does have a small skyline. Houston Texas actually do got a bigger Skyline than LA and is more sprawled. This is crazy, I think New Orleans Lousiana gotta bigger skyline than LA. Never been to LA but I wanna go. LA gotta pretty skyline though it just isn't huge which is weird. Houstons got way more buildings and that's shocking 😬
