Breeding Better Mussels - the story of SPATnz

Greenshell mussels are a delicious way to "eat green". These New Zealand native mussels are a true superfood - good for the environment and good for hungry humans. However, finding a reliable supply of mussel spat (babies) has been a challenge. So a group of New Zealand scientists set out to solve that with the help of kiwi seafood company Sanford and the New Zealand Ministry for Primary Industries.
