Imo There's really just different flavors of perfection, and that was one of those flavors. Gave me chills. Best " new artist " ( new to me) I've heard in a long long time. That's talent. I didn't think it'd be this good for simple fact that its got 1 million views and it's five years old. This is deserving of so many more eyes and ears on it. If you want to call her monotone, I don't think it's a bad thing, as some of the greatest lyricists, like Rakim and Guru, would be considered monotone. I think everyone's just gotten so used to the recent years of rapping where everyone just screams at the mic and shouts in the backup vocals that they expect everyone to just come out and swallow the mic.
