Walls have their uses, but I think church members can be a little too isolated and distant from each other. I have been watching a lot of videos put out by the Bruderhof - an intentional Christian community of believers that give up all possessions to live like the first Christians did in Acts 2 and 4. The Bruderhof have been around for over 100 years and their communities are scattered across the globe. They truly serve Christ by showing the world how Christians are supposed to live together and care for one another. They also do outreach to others in need in the world. Why don't the Seventh-day Adventists have communities like these where we can truly live together like the Bruderhof do?
@@davidking2376 That's what I mean. I want to live in a Bruderhof-like community that keeps the Sabbath and lives by good dietary principles, but the SDA doesn't offer one. I don't sense the same commitment to each other in the SDA churches....
@@sassy3923 In the early days of the Christian church, a communal approach (or common purse) was one of the means of survival amidst the persecution (it wasn't like, hey let's walk down to McDonald's & get a job).. but nowadays I guess the closest thing to that is the SDA Community Services outreach. Other than that, there are numerous "prepper" type groups springing up where people are learning more survivalist skills & contributing their time, knowledge, physical resources (like money, land, etc), & talent. And I think that's the Key to success is that Everyone who can, contributes something. Otherwise, a system like that could be abused by having a handful of members doing all or most of the work. Also, & I think it's necessary (sadly) to bring this up, but one would especially need to be careful not to get caught up with a strong charismatic leader like Jim Jones (of Guyana) or David Koresh (of the branch davidians) just to name a few of the most well-known tragedies. 😓
between the 6th and 7th seals we see Gods people are sealed. between the 6th and 7th trumpets we see John called(Ezek 2:7 - 3:4) to sound the trumpet for Gods people to be sealed before the last 3 1/2 yrs which are a dark age.(Amos 8:11, Matt 24:29, Isa 13:9-12, Rev 18:23, Rev 6:12) Rev 11:7-15 Sukkot 2022 - Passover 2026
