Be good if there was more naked beaches in Aust and signs put up and that they can't be removed by idiots ect.
I agree. I think QLD needs to step up and make some Legal beaches. The human body is nothing to be ashamed of and it can be a real confidence booster to go nude like this. Especially in a world full of judgment on how you or others look, these places leave all that behind.
What a shame you didn’t walk to the northern edge of the sand , even though it was high tide giving a view of the rocks and outline of the large rock pools. The rock pool is the major feature of the beach.
I could have gone a little further up but not an awful lot. Many of the rocks were covered by sand and with the swell I wasn't planning to walk across the rocks. I also would ahve loved some people to come down and do some interviews but sadly that wasn't to be either.
@@OnCountryWithMick I agree, looking further at your profile I see photos of the rocks area. I’ve sent a DM on Facebook so won’t repeat myself other than Im hoping to share this with many overseas friends as I’m always telling them about the rock pool. Cheers
@Gary.B share away mate. That's why I do these videos, to show off our beautiful country and encourage more people to get outdoors and enjoy what is around them.
Vandalism of signage is a constant thing, hard to deal with the idiot factor. Looks like a nice beach, for the benefit of everyone I think I'd stick to the southern section :-)
Not for everyone for sure. The Southern section does not seem to get the driftwood shelters, I would guess most of it washes down in the Lagoon. The North end is not for everyone but it is something I think everyone should try at some point in their lives.
Could somebody explain to me why we should wear swimsuits? I've never seen the utility, I've never seen the pleasure it could bring to wear them.
Thats a good question. I think it is more that some people find the naked body offensive. I recall through the 80's & 90's growing up we would often see women sunbathing topless but then that stopped because people got upset. Personally, other than for warmth or protection I don't really see the need for clothes at any time but the law states we must wear them when in public.
@@OnCountryWithMickIn France (my country), 30 years ago, more than 50% were topless, more than 75% in Germany. Now, people continue to go naked in Austria or Spain (more than 25%, topless more than 50%), but in France only 10% go topless now.
@@dominiquetamer5138 I don't know what the percentage is here in Australia but it does seem less and less people are willing to get their gear off. Younger women in particular seem to be wearing less and less when it does come to bathers. Living on the coast I often see women wearing G String Bikini's that really hide bugger all, their entire bum is showing as is most of their other parts so why not just embrace the nudity? Personally I think clothing should be optional on all beaches especially with National Parks working to close off what beaches we do have.
