FYI Abolo is made with slightly fermented corn then de shelled wrapped in plantain leaves and steamed some may slightly sweeten the dough with sugar. It used to be served at marriage ceremonies the Ewe tribe but now has become a go to snack for all Ghanaians the cousin to Abolo is Yakayake (made with cassava dough) the grit or couscous form (Acheke) is made in the Ivory Coast Quinea and the sub regions of West Africa
Wow, this video is amazing I love your cousins Channel, as well as yours. I did not know that was your cousin God is so awesome! I love love love everything she is doing with the plants. This is exactly what I want at my home. I am working little by little, but we’re getting there. We are five months into our move here to GHANA and, it has been amazing and challenging! I would not change it for anything. My Internet has been limited, so I have not been able to watch your videos like I used to. I love both of your channels and I am excited for what is going on in your lives. Thank you for sharing.
We have something similar in Benin. It’s called Akasa, which is fermented corn. We have another that is like a rice cake called Ablo. How cool is TWT your cousin?!?! I remember “meeting” her on clubhouse during the start of Covid.

Aborlo is from the Volta region. it is the food of Ewes made from corn and sugar. They mix the corn with sugar put it in plantain leaves anu steamed it over fire. it is the steam that cooks it. Very heathly. you eat with fish and and pepper salsa or stew of your choice.

I just have to comment again I love love love this video! Thank you for allowing me to see you and also your cousins. Who is Channel I really love you guys are really doing amazing. I will allow myself to splurge on my Internet again soon and watch more of your videos.
I wish they would just hit the like button since you by the comments enjoy their content. This get the algorithm going ,more of you get the notifications increasing the views TH-cam want to see watching. This helps support the channel and watch the commercials at least a few seconds of it so they so they get paid for their content .It takes time to film, edit especially in areas that at times have power issues, like the village area they are in.Also at times they need to update equipment, they need to do all this.I see at times 19,000 or more viewers in the comments loving it ,but only a few hundred likes when all they have to do is hit the like button.
Please which part of Ghana is that, what region, I admire you a lot with the wonderful things you are showing, God blessed you and your husband with the positive, stay bless .
No, it’s from coconut 🥥 family but the chaff is edible (as you saw it in the video) and it’s got a fruity taste and smells like persimmons but smells way stronger than the latter. When matured and riped, its coconut 🥥 fruit is very difficult to break or crack. It’s more or less pleasant to chew because of its strong nature
The chickens are amazing! We will be receiving 300 layers in two months. Somebody is raising them for us for two months and then we are going to bring them here to our home.
Everything was beautiful 😍 thanks for sharing your adventures 😊. Looks like Ma had a good time as well. Was that the Volta region? I want to check it out one day
Very much enjoyed this video. Love meeting your cousin and her husband. Very nice farm. I didn’t see your husband, did he go with you to cousin’s farm, or was he filming ? Do your cousin have a youtube channel, showing her farm ? Thanks for sharing. Didn’t know you have a cousin living there also.😊
I have a lot of family who have moved here to west Africa in general. It’s better that people don’t know who my family is. They are my eyes and ears. Thanks for watching.

My brother started a poultry farm in Ghana last year, and he told me he couldn't meet the demand for eggs, awesome
The demand is very high
Ghanaians eat eggs with a side of eggs on eggs 😂
