Wife and I use these on our Street Triple and MT10. The biggest downside with these is if you've ridden in wet weather you arrive at your hotel or accommodation with road filth and mud dripping off panniers you are about to carry into your room.
I have a Indian FTR 1200 and it has sorta the same set up as you do and you have the best and easiest set up for this type of bike I’m going in the garage to see if I can duplicate this , thanks for the video
Hello James, the simplest ideas are often the best and these work great. Glad you found this video useful. I would be interested to know how you get on at the garage. Thanks for watching and stay safe.
You’re welcome. As some have discovered they can get rather dirty in wet weather and they are not that easy to clean, they are not waterproof either but you do get waterproof liners with them, but that’s the only 2 downsides I’ve encountered.
Hi sorry for the delay in answering but yt don't seem to be notifying me of new comments. I bought the saddle bags direct from SW Motech, but don't forget the fittings are bespoke to different bikes. @DannyT636 Thank you for replying in my absence.
Olá, envio “SW-Motech” para todo o mundo (link na descrição). Você só precisa ter certeza de que é para sua bicicleta, pois eles são projetados para bicicletas específicas. Obrigado por assistir.
Yes, the pillion seat is still usable with the stock number plate holder, but if you have a tail tidy the saddle bags won’t fit. I have an aftermarket plate holder on my bike which sticks out about half the distance of the stock plate holder and had to shorten the bars by 20mm, which moved the saddle bags forward by 20mm and the pillion seat can still be used, but the saddle bags may be touching the back of the pillion legs. Thanks for watching and stay safe.
That is the neatest and coolest saddle stay and saddle bag I have seen till date.
They are a bit pricy but well worth the money. Thanks for watching and stay safe.
