Dude, all of these guys are amazing but while watching this I can't help feel like Adam is so freaking cool. Guy speaks Japanese, curates JDM tuner material, dailies the sickest 180sx and organises events and stuff in the community. Keep it up bro, and great video Larry. Awesome people.
As a fellow student of the Japanese language and nissan-head, Adam got an instant follow outta me.
I appreciate you, man. I'm still learning every day, practice as much as possible. One way that helped me a lot was to have one day out of the week that was Japanese only. Books, T.V., music, whatever it was.

Braselton has a interesting car culture (Road Atlanta area). A normal day on my street is a track built Mini Cooper and c5 with the occasional mclaren 720 and Aventador. And of course tons of classic Chevys.
What a fun bunch. I love the energy and the whole vibe of this shop and group of friends.

25:27 and the second thing about full floating rotors is about heat and dilatation of the metal, the rigid one piece rotors tend to warp the discs when hard braking after laps doing curves because the hotter the metal, the more softer it becomes.

Growing up in Atlanta in the 90s was pretty fun for this kind of stuff. Never had a cool Japanese car much less a JDM but I went to Nopi Nationals every year.

I've got a Koruworks 1JZ spark plug cover and I love it!
Larry! Finally got my first jdm to start off with. It's nothing spectacular and I kinda fell in love with it's quirks after seeing it. Found a 05 Element in sunset metallic, in really decent well kept condition. High miles but I can easily engine swap it someday if I save up and plan well. Been imaging what to do, and this vid already inspired me on wheels. That teal silvia with the white advan 3 spokes.. I now want to find 17" advans in white for it! Imaging lowering it, maybe make a solid 4-500hp at the wheels, enough for a fun daily but not get out of hand? It's a long term dream, but hopefully comes to fruition one day!
That's not really what jdm is. unless you've manged to get a right hand drive one.
So you're trying to be an elitist or something? JDM means Japanese Domestic Market. RHD means Right Hand Drive. It's origin manufacturer is Honda. It's engine is also produced in Japan and not USDM only. You can find RHD variants meaning the Element is available in its home country. It qualifies as a JDM. Now if you want to talk specifics, we can discuss whether the Mitsubishi Eclipse is JDM as it was created and designed for the American market. That's why the community calls those DSM. Now go take you're uninformed elitist bs elsewhere, thanks. The car community doesn't need it.
