I cant stop crying when seola said she has to be a "good girl". I can relate so much to how she feels being the eldest. My mom has always told me, even to these days, that as the eldest i always have to take care of my siblings, tend to their needs, to give way and be understanding. Everytime i had an argument with my sibling my mom would always tell me to just let it go and be understanding since im the older one. And Growing up, it felt like those words took away my rights to feel anger or frustration which lead me to just crying out my emotions secretly.

I have younger sibling. I can't even scold him if he does something bad! I just should complain or just let it go! Sometimes I have to take all mistakes of him and again get scold!! 😭 But without him I feel lonely so I am okay 😞😶😄

Also, seola gives off this character of being a leader, responsible and strong so it is easy for some people to just assume that she is okay.
It's cool that Donggook did a test like this again. Raising 5 kids is hard, need to keep a fair balance but unfortunately all kids will feel like Seola from time to time. I come from a big family myself and as a kid we often had to compromise for each other at times it felt unfair but really it's just part of the package with big families
I'm pretty amazed by how Donggook worries about his children, he has been involved with a specialist in children and their development twice I think, and that's awesome, most of the parents don't take any advice of professionals or psychologist for raising their children, they take more importance of what they learned by their own experience and how their families raised them. I'm hoping more people watch this and try to understand their kids more. Consulting a professional it's a great way to if you don't know how or what should you do to make them more happier and deal with issues. 👍 Sua, Seola, and Sian are very good kids 💖
i think it's bcs donggook is always away bcs of soccer games and he has 4 more kids to take care of. being a parent of many kids is hard. so glad that he's always tries his best in childrearing while he's active as an athlete.

i'm really proud of donggook for going to a developmental psychiatrist! i feel like often times there can be a certain stigma around seeing a therapist, but honestly i feel like it's a really good idea for EVERYONE. anyone, no matter their mental health, can benefit from therapy. and i think this was such an important thing, too. because now, he's armed with knowledge and a better understanding of how certain things affect his children and he can make sure that they grow up happy and healthy now because of it. i wish more people would take the initiative like he did.

Seriously Naeun is a smart kid ! To know she has to call an adult in that situation was really mature. Also I love how she's always aware of what language to speak with whom . With her mama she sometimes mixes English words with the German, knowing that she'll be understood and speaks only korean with her appa. Gunhoo will be even smarter with Nauens influence
I love how the parents have their own ways of disciplining their children. Sam is really good at handling his boys. He's nice and playful but he gets strict when he needs to. Dongook scolds them firmly with reason then consoles them nicely afterwards. Jiyong may be strict but he plays with Seungjae well and his son understands what he did wrong. I haven't really seen Johoo discipline his children but he teaches them manners in the way they speak and act. The ROS families really brightens up our day 😄😄 more power!

I’m glad Donggook is doing these kind of researchers of his children at a young age. I never played with children when I was younger, I was always alone and my mom always kept nagging at me. My father would also always scold me. Because of that I don’t have an expression on my face. Many people have pointed that out, my teachers always tell me to make emotions. I’ve been to a psychologist and they said that my childhood had a very big impact on my personality. I’m really happy that Lee Donggook is concerned about his children’s mental health. I was like Sua but ten times worser.

After reading all these comments from other folks who are elder siblings and have experienced this pressure from parents, we aren't alone. It's interesting to see how much this episode with Seola's experiences touch our personal lives. We have all had experiences where we can't say anything or do anything, and hold things inside, sometimes, leading up to damaging choices in adult life. Then, the parents wonder, what's wrong with the kid? My parents have always treated me differently than my brother, and only have started to change after my 30s. Yet, I still receive the unreasonable amount of pressure from them and have to take care of a 29 year old man, like he's a toddler. Makes no sense. And they wonder why I live across the country from them. Put two-and-two together dummies. Sometimes, traditions are good and make sense. Sometimes, they're unreasonable and non-beneficial.

I’m glad Donggook is doing these kind of researchers of his children at a young age. I never played with children when I was younger, I was always alone and my mom always kept nagging at me. My father would also always scold me. Because of that I don’t have an expression on my face. Many people have pointed that out, my teachers always tell me to make emotions. I’ve been to a psychologist and they said that my childhood had a very big impact on my personality. I’m really happy that Lee Donggook is concerned about his children’s mental health. I was like Sua but ten times worser.

After reading all these comments from other folks who are elder siblings and have experienced this pressure from parents, we aren't alone. It's interesting to see how much this episode with Seola's experiences touch our personal lives. We have all had experiences where we can't say anything or do anything, and hold things inside, sometimes, leading up to damaging choices in adult life. Then, the parents wonder, what's wrong with the kid?
My parents have always treated me differently than my brother, and only have started to change after my 30s. Yet, I still receive the unreasonable amount of pressure from them and have to take care of a 29 year old man, like he's a toddler. Makes no sense. And they wonder why I live across the country from them. Put two-and-two together dummies. Sometimes, traditions are good and make sense. Sometimes, they're unreasonable and non-beneficial.

looking this after rewatching the previous episode made me feel sad for Seola. She was tough, independent, leader because she was mold to be that way by Donggook. There are advantage and disadvantages and mostly of the cons may affect her mental and emotional side.
