You’re reaction to it still being there after the first throw being unsuccessful shows me u don’t realize how lucky u were to even have a 2nd chance to throw another ball. U rarely get a 2 chance and you’re probably the only one I’ve seen to get that opportunity twice
@@alexskarbo9536 well the base catch rate is 0.3%, you can increase that chance with stuff like the Hyperball - which multipliers by 2.0, with a curveball it turns to around 3.4, hitting excellent actually gives a 1.85 multiplier boost, and the golden berry gives a 2.5 multiplier, depending on your medal (Brone, Silver, Gold) it gives an 1.1 / 1.2 / 1.3 extra, so the chance is already far greater as the base catch rate.

I got that, in the wild too. But mine ran away on first ball. It’s happened 4 times for galarian zapdos, 3 times moltres - they all ran away first ball. I have no golden razz berrys.
I haven't even bothered with the inscence. Having to walk in a straight path for 15 minutes isn't possible for me without running into traffic lights that take at least a minute to pass.
I caught mine a few weeks ago and it was a level1 and apparently, if it have a lower level, its easier to catch so keep an eye out for those low levels and good luck finding another one

Found one today (many months after the insense was released) and it was the first time I saw one. I have walked EVERY day since the insense came out and I finnaly found my favorite bird. I click it immediately, to find it's slightly over 2100 cp. Not a great sighn cause higher cp= harder to catch. Then I realize I have no golden razz berries. As the inside of me is dying because I did not think it was possible to catch I pathetically used a normal razz and ultra ball. I curve-threw and missed the circle completely. Not even a nice throw. As my heart crumbles since I was seeing my favorite bird flee (or so I thought) it shook once. Then twice. And somehow 3 times. I caught the bird. I flipped out, and rightfully so. All of that ALSO with slow internet, because I was in a dead zone. I am now starting to think all those months payed off. Cause they did.

If it spwans again do one thing use golden razz berry and do an excellent throw with ultra ball it will either escap or get caught but will not flee if it escapes catch it again with excellent throw

i have a glitch where every time i get dropped off in the parking lot at school one spawns i only have 2 right now but hopefully more in the future!
From what I’m seeing it the birds always appear at the end of incense so always watch out that’s what happens to but it fled
It's always random it was the middle for me and the first one for my friend and the beginning for my other friend
