    I'm really glad I found your channel, these videos are so helpful 🙏
    My favourite brother who had schizophrenia passed a few weeks ago.
    He would say "their coming to take me home" like a countdown, first it was "in a couple of weeks" then a week.....the weekend......then tomorrow.
    Not long before he passed I had a vision that his ancestors were swirling around me in a vortex, like they were ready & waiting to take him home.
    Outside the vortex I saw what I thought must have been the characters who played the role in his schizophrenia.
    I then travelled through the galaxy with him, he didn't know I was with him, he had such determination to reach his destination.
    When I opened my eyes in my dark room a bright golden plasma type misty cloud was on my ceiling.
    I hope this means he's now in a loving place, I wish I could check on him to know if he's ok.

      Thank you for telling us about your brother. How wonderful to think of him with that warm welcome by people who care. He is free of the illness now and can be his genuine self. I believe that your brother is more than ok, Judy.

    Well, you asked for people to comment on things seen in the spiritual world!
    Here are some things I have seen in the spiritual world, through the mechanisms of "astral projection", or leaving the physical body (those people who have experienced sleep paralysis in mental clarity have entered the first state of body/spirit separation)
    1. Tunnels connecting different places (or what we might call realms or societies). I have been taken through tunnels that curve and change direction, sometimes seeing other tunnels branching off in different directions. In the sense of Swedenborg observing that "Heaven seen as a whole is a representation of the human form" I surmise perhaps that these connecting tunnels between societies could be seen as correspondences of the arteries and veins that connect together the elements of our inner physical bodies. In one particular profound experience I was traveling at a brisk speed through a semi-lit gray tunnel (about 20 feet diameter), clearly saw a junction heading off to the left as I traveled, continued on forward and then popped out of the tunnel into a brightly lit flat semi-suburban environment, there was an unknown man waiting there and he said to me "your father is over here and he has got a bunch of love letters this thick" and he held his thumb and finger about an inch and a half wide. Even though I am repeating his words verbatim there was an internal interpretation happening in my mind at the same time, and I interpreted the meaning of the words to be that my Dad was now living in an environment where he is able to receive and to give greater love than ever before.
    2. Seas. In one experience I was bought into spiritual lucidity sitting on a wooden bench, people sitting beside me to the left and right and people sitting opposite me, almost knee to knee, in a wooden "galley" environment. Above the people opposite there were a row of windows, I stood up to look through the lower portion of the window opposite and realised I was inside a fishing trawler-sized boat and was looking across a choppy bay with a rocky outcropping of a cliff nearby. The choppy sea and surrounds were full of clarity, a little eerie, but very beautiful and bathed in an other-worldly yellow-orange soft light, and the immediate and distant visual surrounding seemed to be curved into the opposite direction to that of our physical world horizon.
    3. Gravity. There is gravity there that keeps people and things functioning there as it does here. But, when we are in our spiritual body we can fly using mental effort, we seem to be comparatively much lighter. For me the mental effort of flying can be tiring, I have sometimes returned to the physical feeling like my mind had run a marathon. In one experience I was flying across a landscape and there was a "guide?" (by appearances a young lad) flying beside me. I said to him "can everybody over here fly" and he responded "yes, but we only do it when we are traveling".
    4. Trees. Most trees I have seen a similar to physical world counterparts, but some have been ridiculously huge in proportions. One particular tree that impressed me as I hovered within it's canopy had branches extending out to the sides that were around six to eight feet in diameter. I don't believe that such a mammoth tree could physical stay standing in the physical world, but with "gravity" being different over there perhaps that is how it can happen? This particular tree was surrounded by normal sized trees about one third of it's height.
    5. Malleability. In one vivid out-of-body experience I tried a tactile experiment. Beside a wooden-clad building there was a frame of a garden trellis. I pushed my index finger against the about 1" diameter "metal" frame and I could feel it as solidly as a physical world item. But I pushed a second time, harder, and there was a zap, a flash of blue flame at my finger accompanied by a painless electricity shock feeling, and my finger passed through the frame. This has been the only tactile experiment I have ever tried, but I think it gives a little insight as to why in the next world we can come to no harm - if you accidentally hit a tree there at 100 mph you would probably go right through it in the way my finger went right through the trellis frame.

    Love seeing "stuff" you present. Have been reading John Muir, "The Essential John Muir," who experienced God in nature. He laments (he usually didn't complain) that most people were blind to God here. He goes into such detail over every stone, the uniqueness of each waterfall, it is a jubilation. He helped protect Yosimite from "developers." But it makes sense that he was seeing through nature to the substance you put below the brick.

      Yes, Frances! Chara here, one of the comment responders. I'm familiar with John Muir and the nature movement, though I haven't read about it first hand. There's a book about how he was influenced by Swedenborg, though the title is slipping my mind right now. Yes, seems he saw spiritual reality behind everything in nature!

    I love the way you explain these complex topics, Curtis! God bless you! Another topic that is puzzling, and even Swedenborg, very seriously I might add, says one could easily go insane trying to figure out, is the concept of Time, how God is outside time yet inside it as well, and how in Heaven (and hell too?) Time simply does not exist! Makes me wonder, is Time actually a function of our bodies, and in that sense, a combination of biological and phisiological activities, which combined with spacial aspects (Earth's turning and spinning) brings about the ilusion that it's a physical phenomena, almost like a river or current of water running forward? That verse from Ecclesiastes about there being "nothing new under the Sun" reminds me that Our Crown chakra, sometimes associated with the Sun (with 12 pairs of spikes, like our cranial nerves, the 24 elders before the throne of the Lord?), is above the entire body, and time can be looked at from the chakras (inner churches) perspective, whether vertically or horizontally, and where past, present and future are all underneath the head. Do you have any insights on our individual perception of time and its relation to the universal phenomenon of time? Thank you for this video, as compelling as all you do! I like to think Swedenborg looks down on you and feels joy for your Ministry, and Jesus in turn conforts him saying something like: "See, Emm'el? I told you your ideas (my revelations to you) would spread around the world like lightning, in spite of your books not becoming best-sellers in your time on Earth!" 😇⚡️🌏📚📖

      @Juan-hd8lh 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @BowenUSA And I love your comment! Hadn't thought of time in that way, and it makes so much sense. It reminds me of the Kabbalah's Angel of Forgetfulness, are you familiar with it? God bless you, Bowen...

      @mydanshi9683 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      I think you’re on to something! I had a dream where the concept of time was explained. In the spiritual realm it doesn’t move along, ‘it just is’ and any time, forwards or backwards can be visited and the detail expanded to infinity, just by focusing on it. We pull ourselves through time by the act of breathing while we’re in a physical body. Your explanation is good clarification for me.

    • @Juan-hd8lh
      @Juan-hd8lh 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @mydanshi9683 Oh, wow... your dream was profound: "Any detail can be expanded to infinity." I'm beginning to love this more and more...! And I'm quite curious now: Would you tell me more about this dream? Who explained this to you within the dream? Have you had other similar dreams? Do they, perhaps, occur often? I rarely remember my dreams (they saybwenalways dream, even if we think we don't), and only recently did I begin remembering some, although nothing memorable nor particularly meaningful, mostly nonsensical mixes of memories and ilogical situations). God bless you double what He already does! 🤲

      Interesting comment, Juan! I'm assuming you've seen our shows from the last two Mondays, which have focused on the concept of time in the spiritual world. I (Chara) would have to fall back on them to give you an answer -- so maybe go watch them (again?)? I'm a girl of simple thinking, so I can't add to your comment, but I can ponder it! Time as a function of our bodies.... Hmmmm..... Interesting thread you've started -- thanks to Bowen and Mydanshi for chiming in, too!

    I have seen the world as you describe it here ... as an extension of ourselves, and given substance depending upon what's in our Hearts and Minds ... but I thought that was/is the True Nature of this physical life experience?? Maybe it is, but our nature is more fixed, inflexible and solid and that's why the physical world appears the way that it does to us? I never would have thought about this if I had not seen this video, so thank you for your work !!

    • @offTheLeftEye
      @offTheLeftEye  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Glad it gave you something to think about, Metaphysics-for-life. I have never thought about what you refer to as "the True Nature of this physical life experience" that way. Seems to me there is much more flow and dynamic energy in the other world -- but I've never experienced it myself, yet!

    Great video. How funny that you said you can’t change the table with your mind. I had a dream where I witnessed a desk turn into a different sort of desk, instantly. I told other people in the dream and they mocked me. I believe this dream was to show me how my son with schizophrenia experiences an altered reality that is just as real as the one I’m currently in. He often sees a dripping tap that isn’t dripping, for example, or other things that show me that this reality is merely a persistent illusion, as Einstein said.

    Whenever I hear someone call Swedenborg a "Lunatic" or a "mad heretic" although he was one of the biggest geniuses in all of 18 century Europe I always remembered Saint Anthony the greats teaching on the matter. “A time is coming when men will go mad, and when they see someone who is not mad, they will attack him, saying, 'You are mad; you are not like us.” I believe Swedenborg wasn't mad at all and I respect that he had enough courage to publish these fine works knowing how a society would respond.

    • @offTheLeftEye
      @offTheLeftEye  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, Jay -- It does seem it took a lot of courage, evidenced by the fact that his first several books were published anonymously. But eventually he did put his name on his books. Not only did people consider him mad, but also a heretic, as there was one state religion at the time, and Swedenborg's works were presenting different theological ideas. Quite the risky place to be!

    I have had so many spiritual experiences, and I also have visited some weird places. I had a traumatic event that took me to, what I experienced as a des-integration of myself. I had a battle against a dragon who wanted to take my head off. An angel, I believed was Saint Michel archangel who gave me a sword of light to face the battle. In a battle I was completely disintegrated and what was left was a bin of light that came up to the top of my head down. I saw the light. After this experience, I have had so much alteration of my physical heart. I also feel like a portal has been opened. I never read the bible before as I couldn’t understand, but after this experience I feel like the bible narrates my own story.

    • @offTheLeftEye
      @offTheLeftEye  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Amazing experiences, Sonia. And yes, Swedenborg says that the Bible, below the surface of the literal meaning, is a story about our own spiritual evolution. It's easy to see in some of the stories though!

    When you started to explain how the angelic realm works, as in how the surroundings manifest according to what the angel is feeling or desiring, it really struck a chord in me. It describes exactly the experiences I've had in several dreams, particularly dreams that were in vivid colour and clarity. Just about all dreams I recall have been in shades of grey, but there was something very different in the ones where I was creating magnificent rainforest gardens and waterfalls and so on. Aside from that, I also had an nde when I was in a near fatal car crash in 2000 sustaining critical injuries. I did not however experience seeing passed over loved ones, nor did I see Heaven, but I my spirit was seemingly hovering inside a tunnel of sorts, which appeared like what I can only describe like shimmering plastic wrap with streaks of bright white light. I found myself trying to move ahead but it was like I was frozen in place, and then I heard a male's voice over my right shoulder say, "Come this way, Bill..." so I turned and then I found myself speeding through the tunnel and saw a bright burning white light rushing toward me! In that instant I could hear sounds like shattering glass, unfamiliar voices, and then my mother's soothing voice, telling me I am going to be fine, that I had a car accident... And then I was put into an induced coma for two weeks because of a tbi (traumatic brain injury)... That was then the beginning of another journey into the unknown.

      Wow Bill that is an incredible story. Whew, thank you for taking the time to tell it. I am glad that this video struck a chord with your very vivid experience. And I hope that your recovery from the accident was not too painful and long. 24 years is a long time, maybe enough for healing. How amazing that you could hear your mother's voice. BLess you and wow you have amazing dreams now.

My evolution over this is - first I want that paradise. Second - I just want to be where I am happiest. Third - I want to be where the Lord can make best use of me. Where I can be of the best service of the happiness of others is where I want to be - and that will make me the happiest I can be. Blessings on everyones' Thanksgiving holiday!!❤❤

      Yes yes, Mary! It is dangerous to start ranking states of mind, because we humans give into the "hierarchy" mindset and think that if something is "highest" or "brightest" or anything-"est", that must be the BEST. But it's not the best for everyone. We are so individual, and will come to the place that is OUR personal best, which will bring us OUR highest happiness. Such a relief to let go of the ranking! Happy Thanksgiving to you, dear Mary!

    also i want to tell you a spiritual experience i had some years ago, i was fasting for a big time and i remember that i enterted the spiritual realnm not by sleeping, i was awake however i felt the spiritual things were like the only important thing and this world was just like a mere void, like nothing, literally a wastable thing. For some reason, this descrpition you said of spiritual substances being "fluid" describe exactly what i felt my soul was like, i moved from one side to another in the physical realm and in the spirit i felt that some sort of "liquid" (maybe my soul who knows) moved like if it was made of water. Super rare and interesting but it is amazing that you said this and it matches what i experienced.
    Keep it going man you are going to get many souls to heaven with Jesus!

    One of the reasons we’ve been sus about our innerworld being similar/same as spiritual world is due to the high-definition nature of it. Like I’m not often privileged to remember everything between in there or out here for reasons I suppose God knows, but the many times I do still recall the detail I always end up out here gushing about how I couldn’t hardly go do anything due to pure curiosity and captivating from the detail of it. Like I recall once I spent a good x amount of time(?) focus on the gravel on a road, because every single piece of gravel was visible and shimmering and touchable, and it is 3D by comparison, like we can see the entire field of vision in detail without needing to focus on the typical tunnel vision view of out here. So out here feels more 2D-ish.
    Also I have this thought of what if the only reason the 3D world we experience is solid and un - malleable is because of the depressed state of our consciousness. Like if we were unlocked in awareness and ability akin to the angels in this body (which is very limiting), we’d be able to change out here with our thoughts too. Moses, Jesus, and others manipulated 3D matter out here after all, and atoms in their most basic form are all made up of different arrangements of light and energy, which I assume is what spiritual material is made of also. So it may only be our perceptual difference experiencing objects as what ‘must be different’ from the spiritual aspects of the universe.
    Ps. I hope you don’t mind our musings and takes on things. We know we may be mistaken, as none of us know everything in these bodies. But I like to hope it is food for thought

    Yes I tried astral projection, and whatever you feel sincerely in this physical world manifest in the spirit world. Like when I felt love, and forgiveness; I went to a place which was soooo beautiful, and vivid. So peaceful. But when the time i felt anger, and hatred I went to a veryy scary place where I felt alone, and demons werre attacking me. But being positive is not enough tho because if you dont believe and trust Jesus, scary evil being could still attack you there. I observed that and compared when I went in the astral world with the love of Jesus inside my heart; it wasnt scary at all. It was veryyyy nice. The spirit world is 10000000x realer than here on earth. You will feel more things there.

    I used to have synesthesia type experiences where if my skin was stroked I could see random objects floating in mid air, a frog, an umbrella. Yes, very weird. One time I went into a world with different colours than we have here. It was beautiful and shimmery but now I’m not there, I’m at a loss as to how to describe it. I love learning about Swedenborg as it is validating a lot of these experiences for me. It is expanding my wisdom as I am very open to other people’s experiences that may be dismissed by others. My experiences plus having a son with schizophrenia make me think that many different realities are bundled together like fine fibres. If the bundle is twisted the strands may break and get mixed up with others next to them. I instinctively know that the spiritual realm is more real. Thanks for these great videos.

    I've dreamed of being on a smallholding farm (I know the farm.... it's in the Cederberg mountains) On this smallholding is a mulberry tree, but in my dream, the tree bore more than mulberries...it also bore multiple other berries & I approach the tree to pick some berries, but when I attempt to do so, I see the berries have turned into the most beautiful precious stones. In round, square, teardrop, rectangular, oblong, etc. .... Rubies, aquamarine's, emerald's, tanzanite's....ogh ! Absolutely gorgeous ! Allso I dreamt of swimming in a pool with the most beautiful royal blue clear water & the pool was surrounded by the most lush green grass....& speaking of royal.....I dreamed of the queen of England & that she came to a party of mine & really treated me like the birthday girl. Now....I don't know if this is all that going on in my subconscious, but I enjoy these dreams. I wonder what it all means & would like to know

      Fascinating, anja! Of course I don't know what they mean, and since only you know yourself, you're the best person to intuit what they mean for you. But it can be interesting to apply some of the "correspondences" Swedenborg writes about as realities in the spiritual world. After a very cursory look at what the main features of your dream could correspond to, I give you this list, just for fun:
      Farm = Couldn't really find anything for 'farm,' but a 'garden' means our understanding of truth
      Trees = feelings and perceptions in people
      Fruits = the good things we do, motivated by love/charity
      Gems = true ideas that shine with goodness
      Water = truth
      Green Grass = the goodness and truth that first spring up at the beginning of our faith journey
      Queen = this one's not as straightforward, but it seems to mean something about one's faith....
      Like I said, just for fun! Glad they're enjoyable dreams. Maybe you can see something about your own spiritual journey in them!

    I meditated and it was as if dreaming but everything was more focused and the detail of everything was greater than the eye could see.
    I was in village that was very rustic.
    Buildings made of rounded rocks and mainly single level dwellings. The ground was sandy and it was evening. I could not feel anything as far as heat or cold.
    As passed through the small village I noticed that no one was around.
    At the end of the row of houses was a fountain and lots of people were gathering to sleep by it.
    An old man looked at me. I could see every wrinkle un his face, the detail of his eyes with such clarity.
    He got up from the fountain and walked over to me.
    He peered at me quizzically and then I woke up.

I feel like that love will find some kind of expression in the next world, because LOVE is the ultimate reality. So maybe one of the ways that our environment takes shape around us is because WE build/make/create/decorate it! I dunno, but I do fundamentally believe (based on Swedenborg's reports) that heaven is not a place where we will feel frustrated, bored, denied the simple activities that bring us joy. "Beauty" seems like a spiritual quality to me, and so if our spirit projects beauty, we'll get beauty around us, seems to me.

(Heaven or hell) and joyfully meet us? Or they can opt not to meet us when they dont want to?

    • @offTheLeftEye
      @offTheLeftEye  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The way Swedenborg describes it, Spylingo, it sounds like that first meeting is a joyful thing. And given the fact that he was shown that love and usefulness are the driving forces in the spiritual world, I would think that it would be the magnetism of love that would drive that initial greeting. Later on, perhaps, IF there was some real potential for useful learning or growth or healing, we might meet with family members who we might not put in the "joyful" category.
      In this video, "5 Reunions in the Afterlife," there's a story about two brothers who did not get along, but they came together and were able to heal. -- th-cam.com/video/wpWrtwlyvE0/w-d-xo.html, right at the beginning of the video.

      But despite all that, the Pyramids are an incredible and lasting testament to those architects and workers, and to what can be achieved through human intelligence, co-operation and perseverance, and at the end of construction those normal folk that built them (and survived) must have been incredibly proud.

    I loved every bit of off the left eye and swedenborg content but I do have to respectfully disagree with you Curtis on the solid fact of dreams not being real there are people one in particular his name is Darius wright who has controlled out of body experiences and he talks about the realms of heaven and that fear and things like that stuff you put in your body has an effect it's almost like looking back from a drunk night when you're awake but clean living and different things help what these Auto body experiences. I've had sleep paralysis where I started going out of my body so I really do believe they are real and he talks about the dream state and how you can do different things and see things and see people's information or thought field. My brother was in a coma for 3 weeks and he had out of body experiences and saw my mom talking to the doctor in a room while he laid there in the hospital bed. I have had so many dreams as a kid flying around the house that I lived in and even as an adult I had these flying dreams where I'm kind of gliding a few feet off the floor and some amazing coincidences happened while having these dreams.

    The law of correspondences seems to play out in our imagination and fiction. For example, in fairy stories, an evil queen or witch is usually living in a dark fearsome castle. The very surroundings match the character's evil. As a child, I always found that strange. Just because the Wicked Witch in the Oz books is evil, why would all the plants be deformed and everything is ugly and dark? But this might be a bleedthrough from the spiritual realm where our character does decide our environment. Of course, this does not work in the physical world, where some of the most evil narcissistic people on the planet live in great beauty and opulence, even in gold encrusted penthouses in New York City or gaudy compounds in Florida. Will such people come face to face with their evil after death?

    • @offTheLeftEye

      Interesting way to put it, barrett. That's not exactly how Swedenborg describes it, but it does seem kind of mystical. He learned that somehow our spirit is present in the spiritual world, even as our body is the earthly manifestation of ourselves. It's the fact that the spiritual world and the physical world are on completely different levels that makes this hard to fathom, even though the REAL us is our spirit, not our body.

I can't speak for Curtis on this particular question, though he has openly stated that he isn't one who has lots of spiritual experiences. Nor am I. But we sure know lots of people who do!
      I love the scripture in Zechariah 2:5 about "I will be a wall of fire around Jerusalem, and the glory in her midst." Speaking in correspondences, being surrounded by a wall of fire absolutely could be a correspondence of being embraced by God. In fact, I just found a passage in Swedenborg that says (in a charming old translation):
      " 'A wall of fire' signifies defense by Divine love, for this the hells cannot assault; 'glory in the midst of her' is Divine truth therefrom in light on every side." (AE 504:12)
      And in SH 934:3, "Since fire symbolized love, it also came to be used for representing the Lord..."

      Hi Tanya -- The ideas in this video come from the spiritual experiences recorded by Emanuel Swedenborg, a brilliant and accomplished scientist and statesman from Sweden back in the 1700s. In his 50s, after an intense period of self-examination, Bible study, prayer, and repentance, he claimed to have been called by Jesus Christ to see directly into the spiritual world, and to undergo the experience of dying (while still alive) and to learn about the life after death, just to share that knowledge with the world. He was the first to admit that people would find that very hard to swallow! He was also taught about the true nature of God, the Bible, and the human mind. Most of Swedenborg's books have many, many quotes from the Bible, but they also add a new dimension of what the afterlife is like. We love the Bible, and we share these ideas because we find them helpful in leading us toward a better life.

      There is an opportunity to explore and choose our real loves on this earth, John. We are immersed in both good and evil influences here in a way that won't happen in the afterlife. There we will have become the person we freely chose to be and will be in the company of like people.

      @@offTheLeftEye How are we supposed to do that when 90% of our lives are spend on sleeping, working and doing chores to maintain our physical bodies? Unless you are rich there isnt enough time to do anything other than survinal stuff

      I hear you, johnsjourney. But even in our day-to-day, we can always choose what kind of spirit we want to bring to our activities: a spirit of helpfulness and kindness and warm-heartedness? Or something else? Here's a 4-minute video that explains a bit more: "What's the Point of Having a Physical Body?" -- th-cam.com/video/LXj8Q2VuPfs/w-d-xo.html
      Blessings and peace to you.
