Nigeria ,I love you and your traditional dances and you are one of the reasons why we must be happy and proud of being African and black, because God almighty has blessed us black people with such talent which is dancing and singing Love you so much ❤❤😅😊❤❤ all from 🇳🇦😍😍 and God bless you.
I love the culture, of Calabar people. Do, not let the so called one Nigeria deceit of dividing people into different states make you reject yourselves. Different, tongues but one people. And Calabar people do not only exist in Cross River and Akwa-Ibom state.
Who are the Calabar People,You should be talking about the Efik Eburutu people..Anybody from the old South Eastern state or the present Cross River claims to come from Calabar the state Capital of CRS..But when you get down to the Truth, this dance and culture is specifically people of Efik Eburutu. Please stop consoling yourselves. If you are not Efik you can not dance Efio-ekpo ukot iba.Period.
@@f.a.archibong251 I am from Mbo in Akwa Ibom my tribe is Effiat Iboto.this ekombi and Ekpe is our cultural dance too. my tribe we speak Efik and we also dress like the people of calabar so we can dance this Efio-ekpo.
Correction: Ekombi is an Efik dance. The description is misleading. The video content is of Efik origin with the masquerade display. It's important to be accurate when posting things so those who come to learn will get the right information.
Ekombi is a dance from Akwa Ibom as well. Even the Ekpe masquerade. Before Cross River and Akwa Ibom were separated the culture and dance existed amongst them. They simply retained their culture. Even the Oron people in particular still dance, dress and display all that you see in the video in festivals. Even the Ekpe masquerade is from Brazil. When people move from place to place, they take culture with them. There is nothing misleading in the description.
@@esthersamuel3594 Incorrect. This is not an argument, it is to correct the wrong description in the video. The dance, the masquerade, the people in the video, the culture, and even the setting is Efik. The Ibibio and Oron people have their distinct cultural displays, which is equally beautiful and greatly appreciated. It all adds to the cultural splendour of the region and country. However, when posting information for public consumption, it is important that you strive for accuracy.
Woah your culture, dance, traditional dress is similar to our culture ( the Bayangi people from the southwest cameroon ) you guys should come back home ❤️🇨🇲🙏🏾

Is it just me or I don’t get your point? It’s captioned “Ekombi dance festival”. What in the video is contrary to the subject?
Or was it renamed?
