Finally! I never knew how to use placemarkers to make sure I worked all the stitches. Thank you so much for this!

For my first ever crochet project I made a full 1,2 meter by 2,2 meter blanket. Using 3 yarns at the same time for a beautiful color effect and a size 12 needle. It’s a super simple stitch and even though it takes some time it was more than worth it cause it looks and feels amazing. Let’s just say I’m a bit crazy to do that as my first ever project 😛

You’re always the first resource I check, when I need a quick visual aid. I’m making a body cloth, working this stitch on the bias & BLO. Is there a way to avoid gaps when I work the 2 SC into the first and last stitch of every row? I’ve swatched it working the last stitch with 1SC BLO, & the 2nd into both loops of the stitch. It’s better, but the edges don’t match perfectly. Any advice would be helpful! Thanks for all your hard work!!

How do you count the rows?

I realize this is an old video. But, how would you join this ribbing stitch in the round that is worked row by row to look like the back loop only is continuous?

I'm making a sweater that uses the single crochet ribbing for the cuffs, but I keep ending up with a stretched out hole at the end of the row. Do you have any advice on how to remove the extra space so it looks more uniform?

HI MARLY (OMG! I JUST REmembered i need to pick my patterns from winning at live chat.. life has tossed a few curve balls recently! UGH!!) Anyway, I love these ribbing techs your sharing. Thank you so very much! Ok, lol maybe I'm jumping the gun here but, How do we attach them to say a hat, sweater etc. so that they keep their stretch? Better question might be. (I imagine you simply attach with SL ST or SC) Does it then keep that stretch & return ability or does that change at all... maybe how you attach doesn't matter? ugh OCD much Kathleen lol APPRECIATE YOU MARLY!! THANKS AGAIN~

You just asked like 5 different video topics in one :-)
Typically, you will either build off the edge of this ribbing to make your piece. Or you can join it with a sc or slip stitches to a finished piece. I prefer to build off the edge.
Having said all that, my goal is to make more videos showing how to use these ribbings with a pattern.
