This is why the Bi-Generation fails the fans. You have to have the heartache with the hope of the new. We have to have the loss and the right to mourn. Loved these reactions. None are over the top to me, we invest so much emotion into ‘our’ doctor, it’s perfectly legitimate to express that sorrow. But my word Capaldi was brilliant too.
i think the bi genaration happened because of the 11th doctor got the energy from the crack he probably had extra left over and when the toy maker zapped him because he can bend reality it might have caused it also they kept him because they still have plans for him
They said it was to quick, but you gotta remember he used his big regeneration energy to destroy all the Dalek ships that were preparing to attack/ or attacking Trenzalore
It's also true some regenerations weren't that slow at all. 5 turning into 6 was like doing a sit-up.
@Treffaut very true, it just seemed slower having the different companions head circle his regenerating body saying "Doctor" Finally ending the Master saying "Die Doctor" then quickly changes and sits up

Emotions getting to me every time but that guy saying “oh this soundtrack slaps” kills me every time

Nice to see the two that were unimpressed with 11 in the 10th's regeneration, glad they came around to him

I know one of them is definitely just so shayla , who ends up loving him and is distraught in his regeneration.

I remember a lot of these regenerations airing and losing one doctor after the other but while its sad they go you always remember what you had with them and what you can have with the next doctor. I also remember watching this live with my family and my brother just left for a second and missed it and it was absolutely hilarious

Yea she was used to Matt being the Doctor so when Capaldi came into the mix that through her off
I didn't think they could top 11s regen...and then they did this. This was so Matt Smith talking to the fans in his speech. Reduces me to a wreck every time
One of them mentioned the soundtrack and I immediately recognised it as the song from “The rings of Akhaten”. One of the most emotional episodes Smith’s doctor played.
Every regeneration in new who has been a really emotional experience. Each doctor is such a good person.
The regeneration scene kills me but it's super sick that 11 just. Weaponized his regeneration XD

Their emotional-reactions were similar to mine...first time I saw the final episode of "Angel" 17 yrs back...and still affects me to this day...So good that series....

I forgot how sesska came apart. One of my fave reactors. Hate to see her in such a state
Poor sod. There was loads of snotty tears I could have added but i didn't wanna humiliate everyone but have empathy for them.

@@Moochtv Yeah. I can't handle that one. I've gone back and forth if I want rewatch all new Who again but I don't think I will. Too many feels.
OMG hilarious, in the most loving way. I remember when Tom left, and I felt the same way. Now, as a fan, you understand that it's part of the deal. It's bad and good.
Back in the day when Doctor Who could tear your soul apart! That was the best regeneration.
I always cry at this scene even after several rewatches. I love "Wake Up" from The Rings of Akatan as the music for this regeneration

9th was hopeful
10th & 11th were sad
12th was inspiring
And tbh i havent seen 13th yet
I like her a lot, actually. Some silly adventures, Companions from working-class stock. It's kind of nice to see a Doctor as a rock for other people going through it. People complain about the big reveal about her past, but every Doctor has some wild identity crisis or all of Creation about to end, again.
@@Treffaut other then that identity crisis thing she’s pretty alright. I think her timing was bad since a lot of the writers left too tho. She is def the hopeful doctor

Good thing he's a time traveller as these episodes are non linear so you can watch in any order!
