Thanks for uploading this video and of such good quality. Darrel Higham is equal parts Elvis and Eddie Cochran. He can do no wrong. And the Enforcers are the perfect backup band.
I love that Darrel keeps his guitar fairly clean and you can actually hear the sound of the guitar rather than the guitar swimming in a soup of Reverb and delay.
If he had been around when Sam Phillips ran Sun Record Studios, well the history of Rock 'N' Roll may have been somewhat different he would have found a white guitar player who played guitar like he had the soul and spirit of an African American Blues and Rock guitar player. Imagine DH with Scotty Moore, Bill Black and Elvis back in the early 1950s I'd sure pay to see that combination.

??? This Daryl is kick-ass he can play a guitar, I just saw him playing with Jeff Beck ,Jeff's good yeah, why isn't Daryl in Jeff rotating leads? Damn good rockabilly player damn good, Daryl that is.
Angel Martinez He's released quite a few albums of his own (search the web, you'll find them) and has appeared as a guest guitarist on many other albums in the rockabilly genre. He's currently part of his wife's band, so if you search for 'Imelda May' you'll see a lot more of him. They've appeared all over the world together, with their latest album 'Tribal' making it to No.3 on the UK album charts.
I'm biased. I'm from the UK so I can't comment on Setzer. I was into him at one time but he has done nothing to promote Rockabilly. I think Darrel is more passionate about pure rockabilly.
Great guitar work as ever. Darrel needs to stop bouncing up and down. Unfortunately, Darrel is not a baritone like Cochran or Elvis. Other than those two comments he is one of the best that you will be able see live as a solid musician. He is a Great Cochran exponent and this really needs to be perpetuated into the future somehow.
He doesn't play guitar, he does speak the guitar ! Incredible !!!

Because Beck knows Darrel is a more proficient rockabilly guitar player then he is, so he kept him on rhythm guitar, the insecure bastard.
Beck can play Darrell’s music but I’m not sure Darrell can make sustained notes that look around corners like Beck.

Angel Martinez Different style. This guy is more straight rockabilly. Brian Setzer incorporates more jazzy licks and rhythms. Both are amazing.
