I don't think I've bought any new music from bands that weren't around in the nineties or before. Maybe a few like toy guitar but yeah today's band have a lot to learn from the bands like rancid.
You forget that he was the only guitarist on all the op ivy stuff and the first rancid album. Not to mention all the solo shit he's done over the years.
